You can also make this with clear acrylic sheets from a hardware store and get acrylic hinges. Stick white foam on the back or rubber washers to prevent sliding. You can stick the Little B grid on or draw your own. I found the sheets 8x10. You can glue on rulers or write in inches.

Love it! Can I ask where you got the dvd case from. I live in the UK and all my dvd/cd cases have the dvd/cd inserts molded into the actual plastic so cant be used for this project. :-( Crafting supplies can be so expensivve here and so if I can make something cheaper it,'s happy days. Any ideas where I can get hold of a couple of these cases or ideas for something I can use as an alternative?

Genius. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was not happy with the $30-$60 price tags for the WRMK or Misti.

This is fantastic! I'm currently just learning about the clear stamps and how to make my own greeting cards using them and I don't feel comfortable using the acrylic blocks on their own, I'd rather have a grid and a solid, hinged tool to help me. I checked my local craft stores and nobody has anything like this so I'm glad I can try to make my own and save money too. :) Thank you so much for the video!!

Hi. Fabby tutorial. If only we could get these cases in the UK. The postage is too high from the US. Have spent the last 3 hrs trying to find a supplier. Found one but they only sell in 50s and I only want one lol.

Is the plastic case brittle like a dvd case or softer like a stampin up case? It sounds brittle and is clear like the jewel cases. Stampin up cases are cloudy and less brittle.
