(After two years usage) Good engine performance, very fuel efficient, nice braking and clear 360 view. Gear shift has some delay between 60 to 80km/h. A bit bumpy when doing one person drive low fuel no load. Seats a bit harder than Everest. Anyway thanks for the good review

Glad you enjoy it, 2.8 engine always has that slow shift and stiff suspension, everest seat is softer but fortuner interior is more spacious and yeh deflat the tire if it too bumpy hahah

My thoughts after two years usage, I agree with your statement. I find using 2.0 bar tire pressure comfortable. The downside is more body roll in corners, but it’s still controllable. I also noticed that at 60 kph, the turbo surges for boost and won’t shift to 5th gear until 67 kph. The performance is very good, and I prefer shifting gears manually to minimize turbo lag and slow shifts. It’s a good car, but there’s room for improvement.

I’ll give it to you right now, from 2021 onward it’s a really great car, good power, technology and entertainment system, except u can’t expect Toyota to have luxury interior so ure gonna stick with plastic that is quiet durable but not as good as Vigo generation. My 2020 has a few issue such as slow 3rd gear, a bit lack of power at slow speed, bad tire alignment, bad brake router (depend on driver, for my driving style it ware a lot of the brake component) and yeh if u don’t mind the little issue. Hilux is very solid car, love it
