These dt-02's dont need rear wings but huge front wings to keep the front down lol. all the weight is already on the back end becouse the motor hangs behind the axle.

(dont use front wing\splitter if you have bump steer..)

@@JoevsRc 😄yhea i noticed that , couldnt help myself just orderd the holidy buggy.... again, brushless to . those huge front fender will defently not help to keep the front down. did you use a gyro ? i tried one but it sped up de deathwobble for me instead of solving it. with gyro its a great dirth drifter for me thoug🤣

@Dragon69FlyTeam lol ya I could not keep the holiday buggy tire side down once it started to make some real speed. That's when I went with the desert gator body. I was running a rudog 4.0 motor and castle mamba speed control. It could have gone a little faster it I tweaked a few things. Hope to see your new ride

@@JoevsRc i m currently working on 2 semi trucks at the moment. also have to repair some other old tamiya cars. Time and good wether is the biggest problem lol. cant spray paint sinds i live in a appartment (have to keep the wife happy)

This car impresses me a lot! I'm definitely impressed that you took the car over 40 mph and you say you didn't damage the gearbox, the axxe had a reputation for having weak gearboxes... a lot of youtubers took the car over 30 mph and said they ended up with it. the pair of small gears in the gearbox, perhaps the new sanmdaster 2.0 and axxe 2.0 improved their materials... but this car is definitely a beast in comparison of a hornet or a grasshopper great contribution master

Hi, friend! how are you? I loved this car! What do you think of the DEERC brand? Other brands like Haiboxin or Imex make clones and change their name? I like this car! but I'm honestly afraid that in a few years it won't be so common to find spare parts for this car. (mostly parts like gears, diffs, spur gear, and chassis) greetings

@zoridor16 So far I am not impressed. I don't like the 2 in 1 receiver esc combo. The oil shocks have on pistons. With thick oil, it's still bouncing . It's really slow and there is no way you can add a bigger pinion without cutting things. For someone that has never had an rc it would be ok for the price. For me not so much

Nice to see you joining in. They are painfully slow stock but I’ve seen people do a lot with them, looking forward to what you have in stored for it!! The shocks leak oil, I upgraded mine to some goolrc ones but I’ve heard some people put an oring where it screws in at the bottom and then it will hold oil. Just throwing that out as an option. Goolrc makes a pinion gear specifically for these if you want to avoid trying to save the pressed on one. Thanks for joining in on the fun!!

Having a 540 motor size easy to drop a brushless in. 16mph there are slower out there.

It has to be a budget rc. No name brands like arrma traxxas. There are a couple of classes.
