I see where I've gone wrong now: I should have installed the sink in the middle of the kitchen.

so more plastic pieces is the answer ??!!...................plastic ring to hold tap in place...................plastic brace................why not make the whole tap out of plastic so it's lighter and no need bracing ?

so all taps now has these hoses attached ?......so water no longer make any contact with the inside of the tap body ?................wouldn't the hoses more prone to leaking ?
