@@CorteztheExtremejourney honestly I'm not sure I just used whatever BahnDaten template file came with it back on Shyguys world. I'll probably upload a copy of the CTR to ParkCtafter's in the future since it's a CTR that's requested pretty frequently.

A friend just showed me a video of someone who built a wireframe coaster sim in Excel which triggered an ancient memory of this game. I haven't thought about Coaster in probably 25 years, then boom into the consciousness. I played a lot of this game. Thanks for the video! It allowed me to relive a time gone by. I will say you seem pretty harsh on its controls and everything (and to modern standards they are admittedly horrible), but I can tell you that back in its day, it was mind blowing to be able to ride something you built - realistic or not.

ive been using it for a week and still cant figure out banking. speaking of, how do you bank track and not back the entire coaster slightly. last time i tried adding a roll point, somehow the entire lift hilll ended up doing a heartline roll.

@@Redwolfvr all of the scenery pieces are located in terrain. There's several editing modes for trees, rocks, ect.

OMG ur original park videos (including Rainbow creek) were my literal childhood. I used to watch ur vids hundreds of times back in middle school(I'm 27 now!). If you could post anymore vids of this park or your other old parks I would be very grateful :D. Darn you copyrighted music :(

When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I saw a kid exit this ride with a face full of blood. I decided right then and there " I ain't never getting on that thing " I grew up in Rocakway and was at Playland many , many times. Great job BTW Thanks.

I just wish you could improve all of the graphics and textures in general. I know this game looks rather bad for today's standards but I can't help but like the graphics anyway, the only real exception being human models, and maybe something else I could think of. I don't really wanna be touching Planet Coaster as that lacks fundamentals such as pools and zoos but yeah. The thing is, I'm sure if people loved this game enough, I'm sure there would have had been a group of people dedicated to recreating the textures and models over time slowly, even if it could take years.

There are some texture replacements for some of the tracks, and if you use textmod you can switch the ground and skybox textures.

To be honest in planet coaster I just use the in game supports for anything with wooden or hybrid supports and just add in extra beams if I feel they're needed

Custom Scenery Depot has officially closed as of December 8th, 2023. It seems everything is being ported over to Parkcrafters according to a forum post. Do not follow any CSDepot links, as they now lead to some Indonesian gambling site.

I figured the links were just dead that's so weird. I removed all the links in my video descriptions. I've been meaning to make some updated tutorials with updated links. I'm a moderator on ParkCrafters, and I helped move everything over from CS Depot. The download section works but there's still some work that needs to be done to make it a little easier to find things with the search bar and through the download subcategories.

Yes the Complete Edition is compatible with all mods. It has the same folders that the original game used. The RCT3 file directory is just in a different location. If you have it on Steam it should be here: Steam\steamapps\common\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition

Thank you. I actually stared all over though cause I'm too thorough sometimes. I was looking at rmc supports and realized there's cross beams that have two beams running parallel and I also found better boards in the steam workshop 😊 I just have to find time to finish it lol

If you want to keep that kind of layout, use an rmc one and if you want to do more like a vekoma/arrow, use rolls with no lateral g forces to get a smoother ride in your turns

I've seen the coasters you've made using different applications, and I think they're excellent. I believe you should create a coaster in NL2 using FVD++. It can be pretty hard to grasp, but once you get used to it, it becomes really easy to design smooth coasters. the application is made for importations. This is why I recommend using NL2 as an application for your coaster designs in FVD++ to be imported to.

This is amazing for your first coaster! The only thing is think you should probably make the turns a little wider, it looks like it has some pretty high lateral gs, (try to keep the laterals under 1.5) other than that this is a great first build, great job!

@@RollerCoasterFrolicking A lot of mods require both soaked and wild, but the complete edition comes with both. RCTgo is decent but doesn't have everything. CS Depot is the best place as of right now but it will be closing in December. Parkcrafters is a new forum that is also reuploading all of the CS Depot scenery. parkcrafters.com/files/

I wish now I would've made copies of my style and themed folders, custom folders, before I got my new pc. I have a folder that says RCT3 downloads, but literally everything is just in there, and I would have to click on each folder for every ride. I have a ton, and don't remember what goes into what. THis is nuts. I wanna cry.

There's still a ton on cs depot. I had the same problem so I redownloaded them. It took a long time but I made sure to keep the zip files backed up. I have a bunch of stuff on mega upload.
