I was gonna say my hihat has a similar configuration ( so does my auxiliary hat mount ), but the top cymbal is just an inverted splash for separate sound....but this is genius. Two hihats in one.

If I was gonna build this thing (which let me be clear I never would) I’d have two pedals. One to engage the 14” only then another to engage the 10” also.

I mean, I guess you get that high-pitched crispiness of a mini hat, without having to swap it out when you’re using Standard/what looks like 13 inch hats. Either way, sounds great and looks super cool!

I wanted one back in the day. They also made a tilted stand so the top of the hats were directed more at the player. The peavey radius 1000 kits were cool and the mapex Janus hi hat double bass in one pedal
