Stop rattling those damn rails! Jeez! How many times do you need to rattle them? Once or twice didn't give you enough clue?!

Soft butter good 🤗 I just nuke mine for 6 to 10 seconds.. I live alone so not a lot of action at the butter dish. For me I worry it will sour too quick as I don’t use it fast enough. BTW I love all your videos.. they have been very helpful 🙏🏼

I had a 66, it was red. On level ground it would do about 50 wide open. With a headwind or uphill, maybe 40.

Watching this video helped me so much. My 1987 Yamaha Riva did the same thing as yours, and I remembered watching this video and what you did, and it started right up. I cleaned the plug prongs with rubbing alcohol and a q tip. I just wanted to thank you for making that video. Happy riding my friend.

Heck yeah, it runs!! Joe I've been getting up early in the morning just to watch this video series before work. I feel we're kindred spirits and I get a chuckle every time there's a "cmon baby" moment. I can't wait to see the rest of how this P200E goes. Glad you are doing ok at this point after the hospital say, best wishes.

Great video, but never use steel tools to pry aluminum cases apart, you'll damage the sealing surfaces. And you broke a cooling fin off the jug 😞
@JamitinThereRepair2 ай бұрын
Yes, you are absolutely correct. The jug was bad anyhow so breaking fins was not so much a problem. Thanks for watching and I plan on having more Vespa videos soon.

Slide a small flathead screwdriver into the triangle shaped inlet right before the slot on those slides. Jiggle it a bit, and the drawers slide right out. No need for a hammer and punch.

I know this is an old video but... My hammers are in the drawer I can't open, due to the one above catching on it. Also, you pound in on the catch, which is fixed metal. At least it is on mine. So, then do you have to pry it up again so it works as a catch? It's not something that will depress without damaging it.

Glad you cleaned and greased the pins as well as the sliding area of the brake clips of the pads after cleaning them and also the backs of the pads. Good job.

I also got my rotary phone working, as a 24 year old methinks! I use Google Voice for my office callings, and also I've been using the Cell2Jack as my go to converter that connects the Bluetooth of my cell phone and use it as a landline phone. The Cell2Jack works with the rotary phone without the pulse to tone conversion, it automatically paired by itself when connected to a cell phone. So I got my rotary phone working with Cell2Jack and Google Voice. Why? to eliminate the smartphone addiction. Hope that helps you, and also please check out my video about it.

That Vespa appears to be in great condition and runs ok. P200's are super reliable and sought-after bikes in the scooter world. It's not a rare model but its very popular, that said the market seems to be softening, so you might get 3-5K? I ride a 65 Lambretta.... ( so you know I dont know ;)

Watching you push the scooter up the drive after a failed test run brought back a lot of old memories...none of them that great. These days we have cell phones and credit cards.

Pretty sure that's a late 70s early 80s top box. The emblem would be red around the Sears name. I have a matching 1971 top and bottom chest/cart I'm working on now. I'm trying to find original craftsman locks for it. I keep browsing eBay periodically. I had to drill originals out to get box open. I recently just acquired a 1950-60s RemLine top box that I'll work on after the Craftsman. I need side handles for the RemLine.
