Thank you for saving a desperate soul here. I almost flooded my house with the overflowing water and broke two toilet plugs I had. I almost had a breakdown and thinking I need to call my dad who always yell at me with contempt, whom I haven’t talked to in a year with whom I have a very strained relationship. Then I saw your video, and your “don’t give, keep trying” kept me going. I went out to buy a brand new toilet plug, and unblocked everything in less than three tries!! I am now proud of myself, have more confidence, and did not need to beg my dad filled with contempt. Thank you again!!

Our plumber told us to never place toilet paper in the bowl even though its biodegradable. We had our drainage sealed with new piping from within to prevent weeds from going into the pipes (50-year warranty). As gross as it is, and it took getting used to, we throw toilet paper in a waste can. Also, it was advised when taking a shower, to plug or close the drain, that way, after showering, you can release the water to fully flush the drainage pipes of any toilet paper and matter out to the main sewer line so it doesn't sit and collect.

You're supposed to cycle through all the gear selections too. Put gear select to 1 for a couple seconds,2 a couple sec., D, R and back into park.

Bruh ngl, I was depressed for weeks and let the thing just be clogged and gather dirt. I didn't want to call a pumbler because I was just so extremely ashamed of how far I let it go. My sister and I were talking the other day about how refrigerators changed and when we were growing up (50s), we had a Philco refrigerator and even though it was probably only half the size of what you are showing, the interior was enormous. Could fit as much food inside as what you have in your fridge right now, and that is no exaggeration. I think when they made them more energy efficient, the added insulation really cut down on the interior size. No bells and whistles, of course, but that was still going strong when my parents upgraded their kitchen and put it in the garage, and after they passed away, we gave it to some guys for their hunting cabin and they are probably still using it to this day. I remember them telling me that they couldn't believe how much meat they were able to pack in it from their hunting trips.

I checked the suction line and it is actually warm not cold. Inside the house, the air that is blowing is warm as well. The thermostat setting is set to cooling, and the temp is set correctly. Could this be a faulty thermostat?

The cap shown is the older version. The newer version requires you to grab stem underneath a twist, two clicks and unscrew.

Am Std is now using a red gasket and hopefully corrects problem of ghost flushing. (Sept, 2024) not yet available at Home Depot, but soon.
