Why do half the brand new pump dispensers (like liquid hand soap dispensers, hand lotions, and household cleaning dispensers) not open? It’s so frustrating! I turn, push, turn the other way, nothing works. I end up transferring the contents to an old empty bottle (same item) that actually worked.

Yes, because the original container does not take up less space the more you take snacks out if it. If they're unpacked in an organizer, as people remove snacks it'll create void space that can be taken up by other things.
