Works great....untill it gets wet or damp. I live in a very humid place . (Southeast Texas coast) that cardboard would last maybe one day

You could simply replace the cardboard with a sheet of 1/8" thick pvc tile backer board found at any hardware store sold in 4x8 sheets and use green treated plywood problem solved

you need to adjust your slide. the slide is out of square, not the blade. use your square you used to check the piece to square up the slide with the blade. should come out perfect every time.
