If you get this model kit …..you can kitbash a Gi Joe skystriker into a Valkyrie…….also there is a 1/20 gerwalk kit that you need for the legs and other pieces to complete the transformation from Gi Joe to Mcross…however once it’s finished you now have the toy you always wanted that can fit your action figures.

It took me about 3 months, roughly 4 to 5 hours each week. The Asuka resin alone took 2 weeks.

What size figure can fit in it 3inches I can't tell

Not sure which 3 inch figure you're referring to? A 3 inch figure should be around the same scale as the kit, but the space is quite tight so it may not fit in. Max Factory is releasing a pilot figure for this kit, the promo photo shows it will fit in the cockpit, so maybe you can get that one.

I keep replaying your video for the tips hahaha. The end result looks so good! The attention to details with the putty, masking tape and decals!! I have a Gurren lagann Moderoid and I'm scared of touching it and screwing it up so I bought a couple of gunplas, wego and tamotu to practice on and get comfortable first, still have a long way to go hahah.

Gluing models has become a rarity. My older brother is a master at this. I liked how he glues his models, but I myself am not a fan of this business and prefer to make models in 3D redactors

This is silly. Why would you want 1/3 of plane ? It's very cool looking but the rest of the jet is missing and it's very unsatisfying for me. I'm not saying you guys are wrong. Make me understand what the appeal is. 🖖🏼

Simply because models are expensive. A 1:20 scale full aircraft, would probably be over 4 or 5, hundred dollars.

VF-25 is truly a masterpiece SF machine, with so much sci-fi technologies and still remain so realistic to today's aviation… I have tricked my friends years ago with pictures of VF25 and some of them believed this is exists in the reality world lol

Yeah, they took reference from modern aviation stuff, and did a really good job at putting them into the VF designs.

A labor of love. It looks great and it would be absolutely unique in the entire world, not another one exactly like it anywhere. How long did this take you total, not just while you were in the shop? I am sure you did not get it all done in one day and we know that life throws stuff at us unexpectedly. This was really cool. I could never be so patient! You are awesome! :)

Thanks! It took me about 4 months, though I can only manage to spend about 2 hours each day, and not even everyday, only 3 to 4 days per week. (I'm not a particular quick builder unfortunately)

Most model builders do it for their own satisfaction without sharing their methods at all. No, they only released the nose part....Max Factory did release a full 1/20 VF-1 Valkyrie in gerwalk mode though

Oh I bought it from Hobby Link Japan, but I think it's discontinued. Not sure if Modeler's will do a reissue. (They have new kits coming though)
