I was under the impression when they say deployment there is OPSEC? Or is Kuwait more like a TDY and you can tell anyone?

Do you get to choose your field in medical field or do you just get whatever they are doing at the time? I want to go in and be a physical therapist assistant 4J but can I specify that or do I just get whatever medical thing they are doing in tech school at the time?

After MEPS how long did it take to get into BMT ? BMT how long did it take to get into Tech school ?

I went through BMT back in '04 and was the chow runner. Fun times. I always managed to get our flight in first among the other flights. And there was a female TI with a buzzcut who I addressed as "sir." She told me to grab a piece of Texas and push it all the way to China.

TIP: Ashley furniture items are also sold on base exchange website discounted, and even more discounted during sales. I visited ashley, took pics of all items i liked, tried out sofas etc and then ordered it on base exchange website which is free delivery (unless you want it set up) and tax free. I was able to get a huge 3 piece sectional for less than the 2 piece sectional at Ashley instore.

AHHH I'm so happy you made this choice!!! And good choice for a first timer. Later in your career at a different base you can change your options to an apartment if you want! But for now enjoy a HOUSE! I'm in a tiny ass apartment bc my BAH is so low, I'd rather give up my BAH and get base housing if I had the choice.

Hi this is speaking to my soul the mental healthcare technician job. My ideal long term goal would be to become a social worker at a school as a civilian which requires a MSW degree. My question is after serving 4 or 6 yrs in the Air Force do they cover the cost for you to earn your bachelors and masters degree?

She was like “is there a filipino guy in here?” Lol! Yes we could act as landmarks 😂 i can’t wait to get deployed.
