Neat to watch that flight control surface working…I’m guessing it’s the left aileron?
@pixiecat61095 күн бұрын
Yes it is...twas a very windy/gustly day and launching this sized glider (4m) was trickly on my own!

The left wing is still in place. The right wing has pulled out. Was that before the crash or after? Just before the crash the plane lurched abruptly. That seems like a mechanical issue not an aerodynamic one. If it was a death spiral, there would be more rotation. Besides the Fox 3m can go down to very low speeds without a stall. This suggests the right wing pulled out of the fuselage and jolted the plane. The fixing on mine are very untrustworthy, and often pull out on the lightest of landings, and so the servos are disconnected. Its not happened in mid air for me, but its only a matter of time so im flying gently until i can think of a way to secure the wings a lot better. The pins on the servo plugs are not long so the wing doesnt need to slip far out for the servos to stop. I expect i need to firmly fix the wing, and also improve the wiring. These planes can be thrown about, so the wings need to be able to take it. Mine was badly smashed when i got it. I think it had been flown through a tree. Ive now done 19 flights of 15 minutes since the repairs and find its an easy plane to fly gently. But it has flaws.
@pixiecat610920 күн бұрын
yes...the wing had partly come out....and hence no control of the wing servos!...having fixed connection plugs in the wing and the fuselage is a design failure.

@billiboard19142 ай бұрын
hmm,, Mojens also erstens benutzt du beim Start deine Bremsklappen und Querruder in Butterfly Stellung! Was soll das bitte?
