@@ThatRobloxJJThe high altar is just waiting there though 😢 it’s so beautiful…it’s just a remnant of what the church was before v2 i guess…

@@okj9060 Both are still allowed either way, I love both of them but we have to remember the freestanding altar has a purpose of bringing engagement to the mass and is no less of an altar than the high altar. I actually would use the high altar personally.

@@ThatRobloxJJso does versus populum, and yet this is an ad oriented mass. If your gonna use ad oriented, I don’t see why using the high altar would be a problem. The priest is focused away from the laity either way, and personally it’s easier to focus on a beautiful high altar than a freestanding one 🤷‍♂️

@@okj9060 GIRM calls now for altars to be built away from the wall so you can incense the entire altar, I don't believe it is problematic but the clergy are still called to respect GIRM especially when its a battle of not getting too much attention from the Bishop and people who do not like how you are doing stuff.
