Wow. She and the band are fantastic. Brought back memories of childhood when music was good.

Days can be sunny, With never a sigh ; Don't need what money can buy. Birds in the tree sing Their dayful of song, Why shouldn't we sing along? I'm chipper all the day, Happy with my lot. How do I get that way? Look at what I've got I got rhythm I got music I got my man Who could ask for anything more? I got daisies In green pastures, I got my man Who could ask for anything more? Ol'Man Trouble, I don't mind him. You won't find him 'Round my door. I got starlight, I got sweet dreams, I got my man, Who could ask for anything more? Who could ask for anything more?

She really sings this song well. Unfortunately, the only place the A Train will take you is to the Emergency Room.

Not gonna lie: Between her kinda ditzy valley girl persona at the start and the shots of the audience being full of well-to-do suburbanites who seemed like they have no personality, I was ready to click away. Then she started singing and I decided to stick around. Then she took a soli with the guitar and piano and I decided to write this comment while I snack on humble pie. Hot damn, she can sing!

I love this girl. The first time I saw her was on youtube singing Santa Claus is coming to town. I never knew a simple Christmas song could sound so beautiful. That was several years ago. I bought her album 'Ella of Thee I Sing'. I cherish this album. Nikki is one of the most mesmerizing singers to hear and watch today. Very rarely do I find a voice that I can listen to endlessly and Nikki's is one of those voices. She can sing anything. She is amazing. Whether you love jazz or not, listen and watch this young lady perform. Someday, someone is going to record an album called 'Nikki of Thee I Sing'.
