@@Nic_Chy oh totally the Rockies are an endless adventure. Absolutely breathtaking, vids and pics are unreal, but nothing beats standing at the base of these mountains. It never gets old I'm gobsmacked by the sheer size of them every time, and the views from the tops are indescribable!!!

Thanks a ton, comments like these mean a lot to me. I always dreamt of starting a channel making these videos, my family went though a lot of hard times health wise and I used to watch outdoor videos all day to take my mind off stuff. So if I can make even one person happy I'll keep making them

It's kinesiology tape for stuff like golfers elbow, tendonitis and stuff like that. They do that in Canada as well, I have one in my Jeep bit don't go to hard at collecting them or anything.

@@Nic_Chy I'm trying to understand how you get so many views on your vids but your subscribers aint jumping up faster.. you get a lot of views and you definitely deserve a lot more subscribers.. maybe you should remind people more or something, I don't know..

@@Daroo468 true maybe next video I'll throw in a reminder. This last video I made has actually been awesome for subscribers. It's actually my best engaging video so far. Only thing that kind of not the best is the audience retention at like 10%. Probably because it's so long. I think if next video is very good quality and shorter it should do real well!

@@Nic_ChyI haven't paid much attention to all the details of viewer activity for mine.. occasionally I get quite a few views but for the most part not really.. I did glance one time at the details and I remember it said that people were watching my videos on average for 5 minutes 😂 I just really don't do much interesting stuff and I Rush everything so fast.. I've never tried to hard to get serious about it but I think you could if you don't get discouraged and stay consistent

Sorry didn't realize it was so bad, I'm actually going to look for one right now! I found a pretty awesome deal on a drone so may pick that up as well. Thanks man! The grass is some sorts of carpeting fern looking thing. Not too sure but it's all over here and you could literally sleep on it. The honey I'm not to sure what the brand is, I'm away for work right now so will have to look and let you know, maybe remind me. If they sell online maybe you could try ordering some! As for the volume, those are some good suggestions, I'll have to try turning the volume up to start 👍 And yes I did mess my knuckles up a little bit sawing wood 😂😂😂 Hey any suggestions for the type of video you want to see? Type of shelter? Background? Food? Etc

@@Nic_Chy I can't imagine any more beautiful background then what I've already seen in your videos... I want to camp there someday! As far as shelters, I like any kind of lean-to .. I don't know if you like fishing much or if there's even any ponds around there but I love to see catch and Cooks! I have tried to do a catch and cook about three times and I can't catch anything.. 😂 one time I just bought the fish at the store and cooked it next to the river and then dropped it in the water before I could eat it...

If you don't like fish maybe some homemade chili?

Thanks again dude! Around these parts we get primarily trout in our mountain rivers and lakes. In the lakes to the East of the Mountains there are a lot of Walleye and Jackfish. I do fish and am actually planning to do an overnight camp in Carnavron Lake, Alberta where I'll bring the rod. I'm not sure how to fly fish though so hopefully can get something casting. But yea search up that lake it's unreal, been twice already in the past years! Also thanks for watching as usual, for some reason the vids have been getting lower views. I started this channel for personal reasons anyway, but if even one person finds a lot of enjoyment it's worth it to make these!

@@Nic_Chy I have gotten lower views also.. luckily it's not my survival, it's just a hobby and fun.. I have noticed when I do Bushcraft stuff and build shelters I get a lot more views but I like to do different things.. don't get discouraged and don't let it become a burden... Keep it fun and enjoyable to you!

It's coming this weekend, got a beautiful and relaxing day hike filmed to Agnes Lake in Alberta. After that the next video will be a solo overnighter. Just found this unbelievable cinnamon honey from a roadside honey stand. Can't wait to try it out with some fire bread!

I actually noticed that Luke put those on the ground when I watched the video myself, I found that funny as well and didn't realize that initially 😂 Also no problem about the language :) Trying to keep it family friendly. Those legging things are called gaiters. They are to avoid getting snow or mud in your boots. We expected the snow to be a little deeper so put them on, but in reality we didn't really need them. They are best suited for deep snow or mud 🙂
