I read a number of Dan Jenkins' book, and this rendition, dare I say it was "Dead Solid Perfect", Originally a movie made for HBO, it disappeared for a number of years. This movie has it all... the golf is real, the relationships are real, and it's a great mix of reality and comedy. Thank you so much for sharing.

This is like movies I used to watch all the time. If this movie was made today it would be 4 hours long, all the characters would perfect looking Australians or fat black women. The racists in the story would be hung at the end and the main fat black woman's rival would be a white Russian man. Also all the golf shots would be CGI. And the sets.
@brianthomason502210 ай бұрын
Panderverse for sure. Tell Randy Quaid would have to be in a dress and act like a woman saying that he's trans for him to star in a movie like this today

Holy shit. The scene of the first hole at Colonial when Jack Warden hits Corrine in the breast. I wonder if that was an accident, or if it was scripted. She rolled with it like a pro, but man, that was unexpected.

I stole this movie from a video store i worked at once .. Then lost it... Easy come.. Easy go. Its not on dvd and vhs is gone... And I'm not having a clunker on a shelf for one movie...but this one is almost worth it. Had to watch it on KZbin in parts before. Im incredibly glad this one is in its entirety. Should have done it years ago! Thanks again. Its over of the best.

I realize this is probably what happened in the novel this is based on, but he's got no chemistry with Kathryn Harrold, and massive chemistry with Corinne Bohrer. And since I don't give a shit about golf, that means I lose interest after the big sex scene with the ice and Corinne's breasts. Which if we're being honest, is what most guys look for this one for. Thanks for doing such a nice transfer, ec.

2nd best golf movie ever (behind Caddyshack), and a plot that was obviously stolen by the 'not nearly as good' Tin Cup. Thank you for posting. Sound quality and picture is better than my bootleg dvd I bought online. Good job

Everything about tin cup is better than this movie. The nostalgia factor has you blinded. It's not funny at all and the story is dog shit.
@tourproven Жыл бұрын
@@shawn77217 It's not supposed to be funny, just good. Kevin Costner is arguably the worst actor to ever hit the screen and Rene Russo... don't even get me started. Nothing about Tin Cup is better than this movie... nothing.

“Dead Solid Perfect” is based on a book by Dan Jenkins; very loosely based, I might add, and it was first published 22 years before “Tin Cup”came out. The movie is just OK; the book is so much better.
