So we say they movies aren't cannon and for good reason, but what if I could put forth a compelling argument to prove that they may be 100% cannon? In dragonball it's no secret that there are three time lines. The main time line that we see, Trunks' time line from the future, and Cell's timeline also from the future, albeit a different one. What people don't think about very often however is the forth timeline. This is the unseen timeline that Cell's timeline trunks created when he first went back in time. After all this isn't the trunks we know and so it's not the main timeline that this story happened in. With that being said, what if, in that fourth timeline, Goku and Piccolo faught Garlic Jr, Goku arrived in time to save everyone from Nappa and the Saibamen, this means no namek which is actually fine as movie piccolo never mentions fusing with Nail. Goku and the gang do the worlds strongest and the tree of might. Then move on to fight Frieza who came to Earth early in the time line. At least 1 year before the main time line where mecha freiza showed up. Why? Because he went to namek, failed to get his wish, blew it up and then came to earth after learning about dragonballs there from Nappa and Vegeta's scouters. This allows Goku, who has gotten very strong fighting other saiyans and a super powered mech, and gaining many zenkai boosts, to be on par with 1st form frieza. At least while using a times 20 kaioken. Meaning his power would have been around 27k, not too far fetched honestly. But he never got super saiyan. That's why when Slug attacked , he referenced Frieza but never had access to super saiyan. Of course Trunks still arrived and gave them the heart medicine when friezsa was there maybe even helpped them kill frieza, because in later movies they know who he is, also it's my theory that the heart virus was due to overusing the kaioken. Either way, then during the training for the androids in 4 years, yes four because Trunks arrived a year early, which explains why the time machine was set for that time when Cell travled in it. Cooler would attack, during their training, and possibly from seeing Trunks, Goku would learn Super saiyan and use it against Cooler. Then using the Earths dragon balls they'd wish Namek back because they realize that their dragon balls may come in handy one day. But of course, Cooler would learn about this and attack Namek, to which they would learn when going to visit namek. Why visit during a 4 year time of intense training? Because Goku is the type of person that believes in times of rest during training. Gohan would follow him, Piccolo would want to see namek, and of course Krillin would not pass up the chance to spend some time with Goku and see how things are progressing. Of course Vegeta, while training would feel the power of Cooler and go to namek to fight along side the others. How does he know super saiyan? Because like in the main story he was enraged at himself for not being enough to stop Kakarot or Frieza and when he had heard that Frieza was killed and Cooler was after a saiyan from Earth who was a super saiyan, this pushed him over the edge. Then two problems accure one after the other. three more androids were the first, awoken by Gero's computer as a fail safe sense that timeline's Cell was not yet activated. the other, Broly. The gang goes to deal with this colossal threat as he alrealdy destroyed a galaxy, 1/4 of the known universe, and he'd be a problem if he came to their galaxy next during the Cell games, best to handle it now, not to mention last minute training and to put their skills to the test. Broly would push them to the limit but in the end they would walk away stronger than ever and make their way back to earth to finish things with Cell. Of course at this time things get fishy, if this is the time line when Cell killed Trunks then why is he in the next movie where Trunks returns to tell everyone that he succeeded? Because this is where things go back to the main time line. Bojack, is 100 percent cannon, it fits perfectly, no way around it. But that's just that movie, onto the next. Broly second coming, Bio broly both take place in a time line where Buu never got ressurected. That's right, Buu is yet to arrive in this time line. This is likely due to the fact that Goku remains dead and did not join in with the tournament. This means no Vegeta and only Gohan would have joined. Maybe Trunks and Goten for Vegeta's pride in his son. Either way less power arrived and as such Shin and Kibito were not conscerned and Babidi never got enough energy that early. However, it was only a matter of time before Buu was fully ressurected, Goku had to return, and things played out similarly, Vegeta's death and even Ultimate Gohan, because Jenemba's movie referenced Buu and Fusion. And of Course Wrath of the dragon takes place a year later with Ultimate Gohan. Trunks gets his iconic sword which might make you think the androids are next breaking the fluidity but it doesn't. You see this trunks may get Tapion's sword as a kid years after the androids, but in the future timeline we see Trunks doesn't get a sword (Not nessecarilly Tapions) until after Gohan dies and he's around 18 years old. Regardless the unseen fourth timeline created by the future trunks who was killed by cell could easily explain this all away. But wait, why did Cell come to the main timeline then instead of the movie time line? Well he had to revert to a larval state. He also didn't know how the time machine worked. Trunks had the date set in place, but perhaps Cell just pushed the wrong button creating, or rather sending him to a different timeline instead of the one previously ventured too. Yes that is a bit loose and very finicky but it does technically fill in the blank. But seriously, what do you guys think? I'm sorry this was so long but I tried to keep it as short as possible to explain everything.

I hate to say this cause I like Yamcha, but why is THIS the strongest oponent he can take down? Like Goku started off with a base power of 10. He beat monster carrot not long into the series, so are we saying that Yamcha, after fighting mummyman, and after 2 tournaments and nearly 9 years is only at around 10 battle power? Sure he's weaker than Tien and Krillin but he's always been compareable and they are over 100 right now. Yamcha should be at least 80, so why Monster Carrot? In my opinion he should have fought the Pilaf gang. Their mechs were far stronger and it took oozaru Goku to beat them, meaning 100+ battle power. That would have been a real test for Yamcha.

Also to build the characters I'm glad you're doing it differently it makes it more interesting. My build was Krillin was luck and attack for high crit damage. Tien was Defense and regen for a tank. Yamcha was attack and speed for a quick finisher. Piccolo was tech and regen. Gohan was an all around even build. And Goku was all around but higher in attack and less in luck.

Honestly under rated. I'm so glad you did this game, I'm looking forward to the whole lp. Wish they'd make a sequel for the frieza saga, that'd be amazing. Call it, "Galactic Emperor" or something.
