What did you do to weld the gap on the front of the boxes once they are in the frame? There is a huge gap there from the bump out on the frame.
@jackg722518 күн бұрын
Thanks, I think I can try this myself. The brake store wanted $850 to change the front two... charging $480 for 2 new hubs... found them online from anywhere from $30 to $130 each.
@RadFabz18 күн бұрын
Wow! 850$ is a lot. That's why I make these videos , hoping to help some people and to save you $$$. Thank you so much for watching my video. I bet you could do it. The wheel bearing is really not a hard job to do. And like you said you can find them for around $50ish each. There isn't anything that you could mess up as long as you tighten everything back up. Good luck with it and thanks again for watching my video!!

Did you have a link to the parallel 4-link kit you're using I noticed you have done it a few different ways do you prefer the parallel or the triangulated
@RadFabz18 күн бұрын
I prefer the triangulated but both work. I recommend that if you use the cheaper bars to change out the thin sleeves in the bushing for some thicker sleeves. Outcast has a very dependable and strong kit if you have a little extra $$ I'd use theirs unless you can build your own.

If there's room for that cable, to come up the bottom, them leaving the stud, pointing to the front like you had it 1st, should be the correct "push-pull" configuration. Then the that cable wouldn't be so "in yer face" perhaps... I do love yer work though Keep at it brother 😉, I subscribed. If it was easy, anybody would be doing it, right ?

Please advise as to how you determined the problem was the compressor. Was it the manifold gauge readings such as a high low side reading? Also, did you replace the dryer while you were at it?
