@@FullTiltBikeCo nice rips! Any lighter, faster, response is a positive. I think the manufacturers need to understand a bmx rider would take anything lighter and/or reliable than 8 dollars tubes. Also, pressure rating needs to be clear and handle 110 psi for seating the tires. They patch well, incase u leave them in the heat, full of pressure. All the fast riders have them these days; and Race Lee 😅

The white dude is exerting his energy in a vertical and the bike is coming off the roller. The black dude is much smoother and his wheel is always in contact with the roller. I think the frames should be strapped down to the roller frame to combat wheel hop

Tubolito are awesome. As long as you don't mind throwing them in the trash and fitting new ones every month. The Ultras are about 50% better 😄

Not my experience at all. Went to Tubolito this year have had zero issues. I take my pressure down after I ride to 40ish. Good to go. Most people who say they are a rip off have never bought them

@@andrewgrando9675 The valves fail. I only had I think one puncture. They replaced 4 for me but I gave up as they're just too unreliable. I tried them for over a year and went through exactly 10. It wasn't the wheels because I used them on a couple of types. Was a very expensive failure..

This is what consumers need, not 100% scientific but gives us a pretty good idea if the investment is worth it. Would like to see the same with other products e.g. Onyx vs Profile Elite hubs, brand carbon vs aluminium rims (Alienation TCS) rims, ti vs db SS spokes, maxxis vs tioga vs other tyres (tires) etc.

From a freestyle perspective. I'm 5'7" and 175-180 has more leverage but draws a larger circle and is slower in the end. 170 is the sweet spot for leverage and speed.

I don't know who these videos are for, but you start talking over $1300. You're not talking to normal people anymore. That's more than most can afford for a complete bike.
@FullTiltBikeCoАй бұрын
These videos are for BMX Racers. $1,300-$1,500 is actually below average cost for high-end race bike wheels. You won't see too many of these builds at the local level, but go to a gold cup or national and they're everywhere! This video is for those looking to snag themselves a top shelf wheel build while cutting some cost. There are cheaper options out there, and those are typically sold as a pre-packaged complete set. If you'd like to take a look at some of those, let us know and we'd be happy to help! We appreciate you taking the time to view our content. Stay tuned for more 🙌

Will they fit os20 wheels?

Off hand, no these are not designed to house a Os20 wheel. While they do feature more tire clearance than the X5, we aren't sure if the larger Os20 wheel will fit (we haven't tried it)

@hotrodbmxАй бұрын
What don't you like about the Hero fork?
@Mac_SimiserАй бұрын
@hotrodbmx the ridiculous tire clearance. First one barely cleared a 1.85 and had a bare spot from the paint with a weld pinhole. Sent it back for an updated, took a good 3 months, thinking it'd be a normal ATC and clear a 1.95, wasn't even close. 1.85 just squeaks under, to the point of being comical. Having a fork that limits tire choices is ridiculous IMO, I pulled it and put the fork back in the box and put my ebay aluminum fork back on, proper clearance and top notch quality. If I had known Box was coming out with this, I would have held out lol. Will get this one anyway. Hero is just as bad Supercross with customer service when it comes to communication when things aren't positive. YMMV.

The Ti bars are awesome, really great way to lighten up the front end! I'm sure you'll love the X6 as well as it slots in nicely to your current set up.

Are you asking about the seat? In bmx racing we all run the seat as low as possible so that it's out of the way when we ride the track. BMX racers never sit on the seat when riding, so it's really only there for when we are off the track resting on the bike. In all reality, we don't even need the seat at all.

Race may be alien, and Jonnie a scientist..Race was spoking the meter. j/k, great news the inseam charts prove what you found in the data vs feelings/ thoughts about what is a better length. now my next question is what's faster 54 or 56 gear ratio at race speed vs start.
@FullTiltBikeCo2 ай бұрын
You bring up an interesting point with gear ratios as that's a topic we have a for an upcoming video! 56 is quite heavy as it seems with the age of clip pedals, most racers are staying around 53-54 (every now and then we see a low 55, but 56 is very large for today's standards) of course that's personal opinion tho so take it with a grain of salt 😁
@brianleeBMXDad2 ай бұрын
@@FullTiltBikeCo looking forward to your findings. Based on your data here Jonnie puts up apex-means 35mph with a 54.x on 180, and 33mph with 54.x on 170 at race speed and .05 slower off the line on 170. The time he maxes out apex was quicker too. Jonnie rocking a 55 or 56 on 180 compared to 54… will go faster as long as someone is yelling pedal!!! Lol
