I innately think "that's cute" but simultaneously I'm thrilled for you that your rock bottom was so far from anything even remotely nearing the full potentials and horrors of addiction; genuinely. If less suffering got you right, I couldn't be happier. But as an inspirational/ resonating story? I think most addicts would, frankly and bluntly, snicker at this and even possibly be like, "you don't even know what addiction is/ if you're an addict then I'm 10 Jim belushi's in 1" I literally know handfuls of perfectly healthy and irregular/ blanaced users who have had the identical or a similar thing happen to them; it's not toxic or harmful like glass, so it's really whatever/ fiber when basically dusted like you describe and I imagine. Hopefully, this is a genuine experience... a significant portion of people sadly will do and say anything for clout and the money/ power that comes with it; including make-up stories about non-existent addictions (shit, even cancer; nothing new)... and this does put off "this is fishy/ seems like it might be bs" vibes because that's just not what a rock bottom is for 99.9999999% of people who are SINCERELY addicts (there are a portion who had a bout of drug abuse, but abusing substances doesn't mean you're an addict.... though if you're an addict you're abusing substances... and they frankly are just confused/ scared/ playing it safe because for multiple reasons including, likely, medical professionals making them believe they are biological addicts [it's like ADHD or autism.... you either are afflicted or you're not]) But im rambling a bit/ wasting time when I should be going to the gym asap. Idk what your situation is and I'm not judging... just ADHD bullshit; finally starting the path to healing in that respect in 36 hours. Hope everyone finds peace, prosperity of the mind and soul, and contentment without complacency 🙏💜
