Charmaine! Nice to have you back! Content creation is still an option but it's a long shot to be successful. Often you'd here some creators say to still have a day job until content creation is stable enough. Good luck!

Great review, and I agree with you on most of it. I am more used to horror (both books and TV), but this book still took some twisted turns, and the monsters were very well written. And horrifying. That epilogue though... I was so surprised, but it was so good :D

You made me want to buy almost all of these books so you did a great job with your pleading and explaining haha. I totally get the frustration you can feel when you can't talk about a book and share your thoughts about them with other people. I remember KZbinrs saying that Warcross actually was pretty bad, with the system being explained in a plain, simplistic way. You managed to make me want to give it another try, though

Hi, this is the first video of yours that I'm watching so I don't know if anything has changed recently but I wanted to leave a hopefully helpful tip here: I don't understand anything about filming, how necessary it is to have a professional microphone instead of using the one built in the camera/phone etc... but I found it very difficult to listen to you voice properly, so I think maybe don't use a background music next time or just make sure it's not louder than your voice. For me at least the music really got in the way :/ Other than that I really liked your video and probably will watch more from you in the future :)

Ooh, The Feather Thief has been on my TBR for ages. I love a good non-violent true crime and have read a bit about the use of really rare feathers in things like fishing lures where it's really destroying samples of endangered or even extinct birds and there was a case where a museum got robbed so that the guy could sell to fishing lure collectors? I can't recall if that's what that book is about or if it's a different case but it's def been on my radar for a while

I'd be lost without my cloud. I have google's drive file stream constantly on and it syncs everything immediately. My main laptop crashed badly this month, several times, and I lost nothing except the time it took to bring it back to life. My only bad experience was, oddly enough, "thanks" to scrivener. I don't know what setting I used in scrivener, but it synchronized the older version from my google drive on top of the newer version from my computer. It's one of the reasons I don't use the Scriv. It's a good program but it's not a good fit for me. External hard drives seem fine and they got cheap lately for large sizes, but they have the bad habit of dying unexpectedly and there's a chance to recover the information but there's a chance you won't, unless you pay someone a ton of money to do some CSI-level magic to retrieve your information.
@CharmaineLim4 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I've been looking at external hard-drives and it does seem that they're not great here. The one I've had for years is from Hong Kong and I've had zero problems with it.
