What was applied on the legs themselves near the end of the tutorial? Looked like a glue brush
@FlytyingFinesse2 ай бұрын
@@suprememarve1626 That was a permanent black marker pen just to bar the legs... You can use black and white silicone legs as an alternative.. Thanks for watching!.

Must be blind, didn't notice the black lines appearing at the end haha. Thank you for a great video, I tied 2 of these and they're the best hippie pattern I've utilized! The flash and color of the body has been the most noticeable on this one

Hello! You do a great job with your flies. What hook size you use for your mosquitos? TY!

Nicely done. I like the pattern...and a new technique to me on making the head. It did look like that bottom piece of the foam on the finished fly had not totally adhered to the the other piece (kept separating). I've been using some 3M spray adhesive on approx. 6"x6 " pieces of foam to join them. I have found that I have to pay close attention to getting thorough coverage with the spray...or get the same issue. It's good stuff if you're thorough.

Lucy, I have a suggestion. Wearing a solid color shirt or blouse will help us see the fly being tied. Patterned or striped clothing that is moving behind the fly makes for distracting visuals in my opinion. Anyway, love to see your subscription numbers climbing! Keep up the great work.
