hello thank you so much, i think this is is one of the reasons if not thee, my books are curling over, KDP have this problem, can you give me advice to explain to them that they are printing my book the wrong way, because both the front cover and back covers of all my books that have been published curl over, badly, can you please give some advice on how to communicate this to them please, it would help massively. I'm sorry for the late reply! I would use heavier paper, something between 110-160gsm. I think cardstock would be too stiff, making the folds very difficult to complete. Heavier cardstock might even crack. Once folded, the structure is surprisingly stable, even with lighter paper weights. I hope that helps!

I find that the important steps are: Folding precisely and get nice crisp creases. Doing both these insures a very clean looking project!
