This has to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I've been fascinated by bugs all my life, and I consider them to be friends. I try not to harm them, even when they're a nuisance. I catch and release my bathtub bugs every morning when I take out the trash, and the big wasp that harvests the pollen from my big cactus when it flowers never bothers me. I just watch him, let him take what he wants, and we get along just fine. Most bugs are actually pretty cool, especially when you look at them with a magnifying glass.

This is the best talk I have ever heard in my entire life, so much that I teared up many times. I love the idea of using a "reflection sheet" to guide (Janet Rankin) the development of new teaching systems. It encourages mindfulness and collaboration, despite potential disagreements and emotional barriers. It can be a bit scary since we would want people to use these tools/information with good intentions. The fact that there may be AI truth formulas (if I got that right when Dirk Englund was speaking of the machine hallucinations rate near 0) should also help us all find a sweet safe spot sooner than later. At least I really want to believe. It simply is the next step in the evolution of learning/teaching systems. Every single person in these talks makes me smile so much. So genuine. I can see the love, passion, excitement, fear...! Yay Analog/Digital teaching.

Eloquently delivered and enthusiastically received. His speech captured the heart and soul of the whole audience and I for one was glued to the video from the beginning till the end. The Armenian genius reflected upon his life experiences through his examples and messages. In fact, the entire speech was filled with facts that the students could relate to and so did I. I wish I had graduated ten years later so that I could have attended his commencement. I would defy to adequately describe the powerful effect he had on the whole audience including me. What a great man indeed.

Dr. Afeyan, I hope my grandson, who graduated with a Computer Science and Engineering degree at MIT, will apply your thoughts. As a foreigner, I know how we speak English; others make fun of us. Today, I am working on my dissertation. I expect my grandson to follow, meaning having his Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering. God bless you and your family.

While arresting your own students at MIT, it is so shame to make this speech. Too sad. :( Sally Kornbluth and her administration team will resign and leave their positions. There are lots of critical views on her MIT leadership for not being inclusive and equal. They are not able to protect vulnerable Pro-Palestine students and Jewish students. They are deleting this comment, but it is true. #SallyKornbluth #resign

I was there. The protesters who go to school there appeared to be a small minority. The grads showed the relatively new President their support when they chanted her name in response to a heckler. MIT handled the protesters quite well.
