@900proshopАй бұрын
@@zackrazali7545 I agree, but sometimes that part of the lane isn’t really accessible on the house shot, due to the low volume. That’s why I try to throw other balls to compare, so that owners of those balls can see the difference between the 2. I’m not expecting everyone to throw it or have the same reaction as myself, but the comparison should be relatively the same. I will also change up the videos in the near future to gain different types of viewers as well. Thanks for the input

Bro what u think is a better overall ball I’m more rev dominant speed like 13.5/14 hammer effect or Archetype hybrid I have both and I try n use on My league night House shot on the Fresh mostly .

Slightly different shape, I think the effect has more overall shape. If you’re more speed dominant, I think the effect will be more suitable as it will probably hook more overall and give more entry angle. If you’re rev dominant, I would recommend archetype hybrid for more control

What's your layout?
@surfboardshack33275 ай бұрын
What’s the reason you use a 3.25” pin? Usually guys with high revs do 5”+
@900proshop5 ай бұрын
Right now my 2 layouts for the season are 3.75 and 3.5. Reason is… I often bowl on a lot of sport conditions, having that rolls the ball up sooner for me to control the breakpoint and mid lane. I also have a slightly higher axis tilt so sometimes my ball is more sensitive when playing the higher volume in the middle/ too angular when I get it out to the dry. So the layout blends that’s out a bit better imo.
@surfboardshack33275 ай бұрын
@@900proshop that makes sense. Thanks for the insight.

I am using a VISE IT interchangeable thumb, not JoPo. It is a quicker and smoother twist and lock system.

Your using different drills on the balls, drill them all the same and then you can do a comparison.

I pretty much have 2 basic layouts I use during the season, try some different layouts in the off season for fun. But to keep it simple, I have 1 pin up, and 1 pin down layout for all my stuff.

Glad to see that NU being useable on a short pattern because I’m bowling a tournament in a few days on a 35 foot flat pattern and I switched weights so I don’t have any useable urethane balls and I sold my purple ☹️ lol
@900proshop6 ай бұрын
NU is still on of my favourites to blend out the patterns. My advice is to keep the surface of the NU on check, because that ball lane shines pretty quick and the reaction changes quite a bit as it changes.
@videll7kelly6 ай бұрын
U throwing n the same area...
@900proshop6 ай бұрын
Given this is a sport pattern, the ideal breakpoint is going to be in that general area. However, you can pin point when the ball starts hooking (front to back) to determine and notice the differences in shape.
@videll7kelly6 ай бұрын
Looks at every urethane made after purple
@karmn6 ай бұрын
True, but it does have it's place. Purple is more angular off the spot and IQ 78/u is still earlier. Overall still easier to use than the old traditional urethanes.

Hi Is the Black widow 3.0, and the realyti PI polished ? Alex
@900proshop6 ай бұрын
The Black Widow 3.0 and the Extreme Envy both have a little lane shine during filming of this video. If I use it on a house shot, I typically let it shine up a little to have a little more energy at the pins. I generally keep it sanded at 1000-1500 for sport patterns.

@@900proshophow’s this compare to the black widow 3.0?
@900proshop6 ай бұрын
@@A1STBornKiLLa The 3.0 being Solid wants to roll up a little sooner to me, the effect is more off the spot and goes a little longer. Recently I had the chance to sand down the surface on the effect to use on a sport pattern, once I took the cover down, the ball became an earlier and more overall ball than the 3.0.

I couldnt resist ordering one.. i just drilled a phaze v (60x4,5x30) and it hit the spot in my bags but i still feel like i needed something stronger and this just looks like that. Any recommendations for layout? (500+ revs 17-19mph 1hander)
@900proshop6 ай бұрын
Hey nice to hear I was able to influencing you on getting this gem! If you bowl on more sport conditions and tougher patters I would recommend something with a slightly shorter pin distance around 3 3/4 - 4 inches (i.e 40 x 3 3/4 x 30) or if you bowl on more house shots and want to move left with it and stay ahead of the transition from everyone, consider something 4 1/2 - 5 inches away (i.e 45 x 4 1/2 x 30). Let me know how the ball rolls!
