Cancer made me loose hope in everything and life it's self, the worst part was feeling like a burden and a reason for my family not to be happy. That's the worst feeling ever, but I thank God that I'm cured now and can be able to live a normal life like everyone.

I wish i saw this 5 years ago when i had my last C-section and had to stand up 16 hours after surgery. The nurse on night shift wasn't so nice and she made sure i was up and taking small steps that night.

If u can lay flat while pregnant and then after c section WOW 😲 LOL! I slept in a chair. Or propped up with so many pillows like I'm in a recliner. That's the easiest way 😂

I'm in the recovery stages of auto immune encephalitis, I was wrongfully sectioned for over 16 months in England with this condition, I married an American a few years later, 2 years during our marriage I was diagnosed with auto immune encephalitis, in July this year, it's now December, it doesn't feel like 6 months have passed, maybe 2? I can't do very much yet, in terms of housework, I cry most nights, which I'm told is the inflammation coming down, it's kind of going to take time to recover

This happened with my sister, they tried to send her to psychiatric who refused the ambulance due to 107 fever- the er took a Long time (14 hours ) to come around and do spinal tap , she finally lapsed into coma where she spent the next n several months- nearly lost the baby she was carrying- a few weeks prior to my nephews birth she woke from coma, no short term memory and loss of saliva, smell and taste, but delivered a near full term healthy baby . She is 15 years out today, and still suffers the brain damage and seizures, but she is alive

Dr Tew removed my brain tumor in 2006. He is a wonderful surgeon and more importantly a very good man. After the surgery (through no fault on Dr Tews part) I suffered seizures and coded. The good doctor saved my life that day. I went into a coma and was placed into a brain-injury clinic for rehab. Thanks to the University Hospital, Dr. Tew, and may others I eventually resumed my career as an engineer. I will always be grateful for Dr Tew and the Drake Clinic!

Taking drugs are wrong, doctors are legal drug pushers, get a naturopath instead of a doctor.
