Who cares who the "real George Michael" was - he was who he chose to be in front of the media; the only thing that mattered - or should have mattered - to fans of his music was and is his music which is otherworldly and timeless. He was wholly entitled to his privacy and to retain whichever parts of himself to that private life as he so chose. I know interviewers are all about digging and digging but, there was so much to this amazing man re: his music, the way he wrote (which was unique). etc than needing to know the details of his private life. Poor man - he said a number of times in interviews that he wished he had been born with the "armor" to handle the massive public attention and scrutiny but he wasn't and he could not handle it emotionally. But, man the press...ugh. And, the sexual preference crap again - it's as though they are all so pervy that (1) they feel a need to know his preference and (2) how sickening to feel a right to ask anyone about it - anyone at all.

That line about how a few 4 letter words will ensure the album selling an extra million copies is classic...

Its so hard to watch Paul with swollen eyes… Im American, and I still mourn his suicide. They have taken on Neils two sons, and Nick and started up again. New music ect.. it wont ever be the same with out Pauls craziness and playing ability. Im sorry Elroy(the drummer and Neils son) he looks like he doesn’t want to be there or play anything close to Paul. I guess all bands have their troubles.
