Hi! I really enjoy your video on Notability - helpful tips! I’m experiencing an issue with the eraser tool. It works fine while I’m using it, but as soon as I lift the Apple Pencil, the erased part reappears. I’ve tried all the solutions I’ve found online, but none of them have worked. The strange thing is that I didn’t have this problem before, and I’m not sure what changed. I’d really appreciate your help with this! I’m using an iPad 7th generation 10 and an Apple Pencil 1st gen (since the 2nd gen only works with iPad Pro). Thanks so much!

There’s a new feature that auto switches between eraser and your last used tool. Maybe try turning off that setting and seeing if it helps fix the problem

I already did! The problem the erased part of document keeps coming back as soon as lifted the pencil from the screen. Thanks anyway

There is one thing i didnt like about the app though, some of my professors design their slides in way that doesnt allow to take notes i.e No space is availible for notes, and i wish that if there was a feature that allows you to write outside the borders of the note when you zoom out, not only within it

I had the same problem. If you change the template to landscape, then I add new pages between the lecture slides. I found that this is even better because it allows for more space to write down what they say/ draw on the blackboard. It's better with landscape format because if not the pages in between are too long.

Would it be worth recording the lecture using the microphone though? I'm not sure how good it'll be discerning the lecturer's voice from the other background noises, especially if you're not sitting right up at the front.

It's quite funny when you say that the 16-inch MacBook is large and heavy. It's the same size as the previous 15-inch MacBook (2020 and earlier), with no difference in size. As for the weight, I'm glad it's not made of creaky plastic.

What are you doing now? I am hating pharmacy school and working at a pharmacy. It wasn’t bad at first, until dealing with angry people and insurance all day starts eating at you. You realize how undervalued and under-appreciated you are. I want to drop out before I incur further debt. My school is a SCHEME! $350k and I am at $100k at 1 year in. I would still be better off if I left to become a commercial pilot. Girlfriend’s family has many pilots who are very esteemed and successful in the Air Force and at large airlines. I had a lot of bad things that happened to me in life which forced me into an escape from my home life which is how I was easily sold on the pharmacy program I am in now.

Brother can i ask what school are you going to that is charging you 350k for a pharm.D?! the thought of that is absolutely maddening im so sorry you're dealing with bro! Listen its never too late to leave if you're unhappy, especially if your school is a 4 year program, having to do that for 4 years drove me nuts so much so that after first week of pharm school i took a samurai sword to all the plants in my backyard and had slashed them up! If you dont wanna do pharmacy and dont wanna have to deal with that ridiculous amount of debt you can still get out and work towards a better life, remember there a student loan forgiveness programs, my mom combined all of our school loans into one and its nearly 500k! This is because she got a doctorate of chiro and this jacked it up bad! So i understand your frustration, right now you need to think of what you want to do, think about what kind of job it is and read more about pharmacy profession! Just make sure what you want to do is something you can do and wont be dreaded by it everyday!

Great that you are prepared to post videos like this and you clearly know your subject...but you talk so fast and skip from one bit to the next, it's impossible to see what you have clicked to get to each screen. I was too frustrated after just a couple of minutes having to pause and rewind and still not able to see what you have clicked to get to each screen! Please - to make having spent your time worthwhile, speak more slowly and make it obvious exactly where you are pressing to get to each stage. Thank you.
