I don’t understand the Catholic centric storytelling subgenre but Isabella Rossellini is awesome and good for her always finding a way to serve and slay.

I've watched a few of your Secret Level reviews, and I have to say, I genuinely don't understand your metric of judgment. "Intriguing and enticing, but not much more than that" is a confusing statement for an analysis of a short. If you could do a more in-depth review to explain why you might be judging these shorts in the way you are, you might find more appreciation for your videos. And yes, for the pack man short, the main protagonist is the player.
@samebutdiff16 күн бұрын
Hey, fair statement, but I can only fit so much in 60 seconds. I wish KZbin allowed longer durations for shorts specifically, as I haven’t had the time to dedicate to a longer review for each episode! To help you out, though, intriguing and enticing as far as it grabbed my attention and held it. However, outside of that, breaking it down to character, story, development etc, it lacked. But, much like these KZbin shorts, they only had so much time to tell something, and I think in more than half of these episodes, the greatest downfall is the time constraints

Titus is a fan favourite character in 40k. He literally has two games, and books about his journey, ranging from his service under the Ultramarines until he was wrongfully convicted of heresy. Dishonoured, he joined the Death Watch, serving the Imperium in small Kill Teams. Eventually he would be found by the Ultramarines again, where they’d apologize for his wrongful conviction, and ask that he rejoin the Ultramarines. He’s a phenomenal character, and is known for being unusually resistance to Chaos. (Hence his presence in the climax of the episode)

Thank you for all this backstory! Just proves that this show (and each individual episode) were targeted for the fans of the games that were highlighted.

@samebutdiff Do i have to bring up the USA today story where the heading is "Fact check: Tom Hanks is now a Greek citizen, but pedophilia has nothing to do with it"? He is not a child trafficker he is allegedly the largest adrenocrome dealer and ppl were going insane and losing their Glow when he was out of town during covid. It makes more sense when you see rejuvenating effects of Bryan Johnsons taking his sons plasma. I have to admire Demi for taking the role as she appears to know more about these drugs than anyone. With all the different client lists being floated around, you have to wonder about the byproducts and where they end up. The victims in Blink Twice were way too old. They also should have been removing fluid from them at the height of their fear.

10/10 for me and one of the funnest experiences was seeing it in a packed theater and then taking friends to see it (that did not know anything about it prior). Some of the best cinematography I’ve ever seen 🖤 Loved how campy and ridiculous it got at the end, but that’s just a personal thing. Love when movies go wild at the end. I actually think this was the most successful movie musical because it organically moved from dialogue to lyrics. It didn't feel weird like a lot of movie musicals. Often they feel like, "hit the track" and here comes the music. On Defying Gravity it was on purpose. They were legit edging the audience. 😆

to comment on 2:45; the film came out here in the Netherlands 2 days ago. i went and saw it with my sister, who unlike me has never seen wicked and does not know anything about the plot or any of the songs. it was very interesting to see it through the eyes of someone new to wicked. she was in utter shock at the plot twist of not only the wizard being a phony, but also madame morrible being a villain. i knew the twist was coming, but my sister did mention how she didn't expect it and how madame morrible came across as a warm mother figure
