What a great store-and good video to showcase it. Would love a store like that near me. A really good selection of oddballs there I have to admit I'm clueless with all the Plec species. When I started keeping fish in the 80's it was just Common Plec, Bristlenose and it got fancy when Royal and Blue Eyed panaques appeared. I actually had a Blue Eye myself-you could get them easily back then and I'm stunned at the cost of them now 😳

The place is kind of depressing I don't think I could go there they have too many animals I don't think should be in captivity I get conservation but still disgusting especially nowadays cuz we can clone stuff if we can't keep them in the wild naturally we probably shouldn't have them then

The two Pet Paradises in London were always great for fish especially African Cichlids. Anything you wanted they would get. I bought many wild caught Malawi and Tanganyikan cichlids from there. Most of the captive bred fish were supplied by us local breeders so you never knew what you were going to see. Sadly it looks like they’ve gotten away from that most likely due to key employees leaving. Still looks like a very nice fish store for basic fish.

I've been dealing with Pet Paradise for over 20yrs and they've always been my go to spot. They've recently come under new ownership and they've really made an effort to spruce the place up and it looks incredible

I'm only about a half hour away in Woodstock. This store is always stocked with good stuff. I've bought quite a few fish from here, and they've always been good quality and a decent price.

Jason has been running a great business at his location in Midlothian, IL for decades. It is not a very large shop but it makes up for size with selection. It's probably the best place in the chicagoland area for tropical fish, reptiles, amphibians invertabrates, small mammals and their selection of feed.
