Thank you for this. I was trying to follow Microsoft's documentation and their instructions didn't really make any sense since they don't explain the variable you're putting on the ForEach Loop is actually the ConnectionString value via an expression.

You don't create measure with DAX you create calculations with DAX.

Cool video. At 3:05, if Xact_abort equals =-1, then it seems redundant to have a rollback transaction statement. I am somewhat new to how the engine works. If the rollback statement was not there, would SQLServer rollback the transaction anyway? When are rollbacks implicit?

Hi Ted ( I assume this is your name), thanks a lot for this video, this was a great and really helpful video, This is a great start for me and much appreciated. Just a simple point: The AccountDescription must be selected as the NameCoulumn for AccountKey in the DimAccount, otherwise the cube shows the numbers (i.e. account key) instead of account description.

Great job, and thank you! I'm completely new to MDX, but this tutorial gave me a great breadth of knowledge quickly. Many videos are way too simple or too complex, this struck a very nice balance.
