Trying to remember what kid’s TV was like when I was young in the 80s. A-Team, Airwolf, Knight Rider, Hulk, Wonder Woman. Pretty sure I loved them but wouldn’t want to sit through them now. I watched this. It was pretty meh but I’d be embarrassed to put so much effort into slagging something I’d probably have loved as a kid.

The younger actors and Jude law were good but overall it just a meh/mediocre/terrible show.

So the entire message of the show is that kids should tell adults to open the borders because even if the outsiders might want to rob you and kill you, there are "good guys". Really subtle.

Disney Star Wars is perfect, you’re an basement dwelling incel

"Is there anything disney can do to save star wars?" De-canonize the sequel trilogy, remake them, and ditch the socio-political subliminal message crap. Give us a proper reunion between Han Luke and Leia, reform Luke's character so he's not a petulant, angry, suicidal, depressed has been, reform Han's character so he's not a dead beat dad give us Mara Jade and ACTUAL Skywalker children (Ben Skywalker) and give us Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin Solo. Do all this honoring the events which happened in the Thrawn trilogy as though they happened, and I would be on board. I think a lot of other folks would be too. If Disney were to be bold enough to do all that, they would save Star Wars. Short of that, I'd say no. There's nothing else they can do to save the brand.

Dispose the sequel trilogy to non-canon and no more PC bull crap. Or else, it will never be. The sad reality is even if they end up make a good story, they will always go back to square one: "The series are beyond saving."

I mean this is my pitch of how they could possibly salvage this fiasco. Ok hear me out. 1. remove Kathleen Kennedy and everyone at Lucasfilm including Dave Filoni, 2. Decanonize everything from the sequel trilogy to the Disney plus shows like Book of Boba Fett, Obi wan Kenobi, the acolyte, Ahsoka, and more. 3. Give the IP to someone who actually loves Star Wars and have him plan out a new chapter and direction for Star Wars it might however take a decade or so to get everything together but if they can leave the Star Wars IP to rest for at least 5-10 years that might possibly build it back up, 4. Try to actually adapt the Old EU stories like Heir to the Empire give characters like Mara jade, captain Pelleon, and real grand admiral Thrawn. As tempting as it is to have a 1 to 1 adaption of the EU stories i think have a few changes here and there might help when bring in to another medium like film or tv. Have change to might help benefit the pacing of the stories or might help to save time, etc. But don't make unnecessary changes that deviate to much of the story if you catch my drift and finally bring back George Lucas back as a adviser, consultant, and executive producer, after all this is his franchise so give some respect to the creator of Star Wars himself.
