To be honest your Animations are Awesome but a recommendation I would give when punching you should add more detail and not make it look so fast all of the sudden.

I wouldn’t recommend destroying your pieces, … but do what you like.

Where's the destruction? All I see is you would then have blades ready for stop motion that cost less than a sandwich. That and your passive aggressive I didn't come up with that idea so your wrong tone 😂

Or cut multiple sized pieces of lightsaber blade, swapping each one in and out from shortest to longest to simulate the blade lengthening. Only useful if you have extra lightsaber blades to cut.

I use to do close up shots and hand hold a lightsaber piece slowly showing up more and more and then I just put the actual blade on the hilt…here’s a link to a part where I did it

I find that the best option to ignite a light saber is to just take one stud flip it upside down and sticky tack it to the hilt. Then you add the blade on top of the stud. Then you get rid of the stud

I have 3 different pieces i use for blade, i full blade, I 1/3 blade that i snipped and then the 2/3 other piece, it's a very fast ignition animation but i usually twirl it to make it look better, i want to cut some more to make it a better animation

I have had the thought of trying to get into lego stop motion. One thing I would like to animate is a dark sorcerer summoning/creating a spear, and I thought about using techniques like this. Very informational video, it went straight into my lego playlist.
