I don't think this song is just for kids bro. It's for everybody. Let me add - these terms black and white are made up labels by Gomes.De Zurara - around 1450. The same slave trade was operating in Eastern Europe before moving to West Central Afrika. These labels black and white were used as marketing tools in a book he wrote to persuade slave traders from Spain and Portugal to free the Slavs aka Slavic people (where the word slave comes from) - and move the industry to Afrika. Peep this for the entire Lie That Invented Racism. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2Gne2mmp7VmgZofeature=shared

When I was a kid my friend had parents like that. I always called them Mr and Mrs, but my friend would call my parents by their first names. I was like...why aren't you respecting my parents? Crazy to me that parents are teaching this.

My mom was always Miss Renée to the other kids we watched. Or Miss Nay to my friends.

It's not even about me or you, that is how you kill boundaries and have kids that think the grown and on the same level. Mr Johnson ain't your mate neither lil miss, put a Mr on that whether we respect him or not.

I call everyone Mr and Ms. Even the people who say I don’t have to AND to children. It makes them feel seen and respected. And the kids are more likely to call me Ms. ABC and be respectful too.

I say sr and ma'am when speaking with someone I don't know but I was not raised with Mr. and mis, miss, or Mrs unless it was a teacher. My mom HATED having to use them so she didn't make me. I don't have my kids either. It's not an age thing, just not used. I also live on the West coast. I think that has a HUGE part of it.

In my birth country we stoped using what here in the us is Mrs and mr then last names loooong time ago and everyone is first nem no matter who you are talking to moving here I hated being called Mrs last name and I still hate most kids start saying miss first name since now they don’t know my last name 😂 so it’s a compromise

At 38 I still call my kids teachers or friends parents Ms x or Mr y. Ma’am and sir.

I don't have kids so i let all my friends kids call me by my first name i love it the parents hate it 😂

I know this may sound weird, but out of respect I raised my children and now granddaughters to say Miss, Mr. or Mrs, as my father raised me to do, but it’s weird for me to hear someone call me Miss Kelley. I feel I don’t deserve that title, even though I am older.
