Seems a shame the race starts so late in the day - majority of runners end up running a large portion in the dark, missing out on the amazing views. Great effort from you though, well done !!

Hi @macau.friend, thanks!! I tried to run as much as i could on downhill and level ground. I didn't have to use toilets but there qere plenty at aid stations, so no long queues as far as i remember. Lastly, the temperature was alright at day and at night it got bit chilly but nothing extreme. Good luck with the prep and the race👍

Thank you so much for the detailed response! It’s really helpful! My plan is simply to finish the race injury free, so hopefully walking uphill, running on flat areas and fast paced walking downhill will get the job done. Will you be racing again this year?

Congrats! And thx for sharing the whole experience with us. I’m preparing for CCC this year myself and have a few questions if you don’t mind. 1) You finished pretty fast. Did you run most of the time? 2) What’s the toilet situation like at the aid stations? Long queues? 3) What’s the temperature like during day and night? Thanks!
