Anne White: Ashley! Thank you. First, the blood will drop on your dress and then you will blow up into pieces. Get it? Blow up into pieces?! (laughing) Ashley White: (screams and explodes into pieces) Carrie White: All right, Mommy!

Out of interest no one is laughing at all in this clip, it’s the actress pretending to be crying while on the floor ….

One of the best songs in the musical. A pity it isn’t included completely in the 2012 movie.

The opt-downs work well here! Normalize those accommodations to fit your singer! We can’t ALL whip Ab’s and A’s out of our pocket.

1:57 girl on the left is overacting soo bad- looks like she has constipation or diarrhea more like LOL. Choreography is very very meh- Leo doesn't even dance at the part in the song about the Manhattan dance. But 0:17 girl sings very very well

1:31 Look at the way baby John's expression changes and he backs up. Then, at 1:43 when he struggles against them because he doesn't want to join in. Even John knows when they're crossing the line

Well, since I am a sort of "West Side Story" expert - that this part is the major turning point in this musical. Alluding to possibly a mixture of the kill-off of Mercutio and the kill-off Tybalt in "Romeo and Juliet" here in this fight scene--but much faster here.

Man, I had the opportunity to play God in Children of Eden in highschool, and this was the first song I’ve ever had trouble getting through. It’s emotional on a different level, still brings a tear to my eye to listen. Idc if it’s real or not, it’s still a beautiful story.
