hi whats the skirting cuttimg machine you are using? Looks like a good job
@Miketekbuilds26 күн бұрын
The skirting cutting machine is a mitre chop saw and then I use a copping saw to cut the joint by hand. Hope this helps

Can't go wrong with Titebond Green!
@rawbacon2 ай бұрын
Just bought a gallon of Titebond 2 a few weeks ago but if the price is right I'll give Gorilla a try next time. Basically whoever has the best deal on a gallon of indoor/outdoor glue is what brand I buy.

Glad to know your opinion though this video lacked any real detailed information regarding each tool and why you like it versus any different options. I also really did not appreciate the click-bait thumbnail. I didn’t really find any relevance to the statement “don’t buy these tools” which is indeed why I clicked on the video. Honestly, I would subscribe if it weren’t for the shady, clickbait thumbnail. You can’t honestly say you appreciate when others do such a thing

A chop saw is in no ways a useful beginner tool. A circ saw and a guide will do so much more

What wood do you use and where do you get it from? We live in WAState, lots of rain, Cedar is the only type that will survive in the elements.
@Miketekbuilds8 ай бұрын
It’s mostly a mixture of cedar, ash, pine and oak, I varnish everything once a year with a water base coating, lasting really well with the weather we have here in England which is terrible at times as well 😅
@Miketekbuilds8 ай бұрын
The wood usually comes from what ever I can find for free, mostly what people have thrown away in there skips, which are take apart and recycle into something new 😊

Nice craftmanship, but not that suited for birds. Way too big house for the birds of the size you made the entrance hole for (I think you could have reduced the size with at least 1/3). Furthermore, the base plate makes it possible for predators to stand on when they try go catch eggs/chicks inside the house. You could have put hinges on the roof in order to make it easy to clean the interior. Just some humble suggestions!
