I use a hozelock pump mate. Had it for 4 years now and works great. Not looking forward to winter this year. Think im going to put a roof on mine. 👍

I'm in Stoke on Trent my tap water ph is 7. I also do a kh reading from tap and that comes out at 6. I'm told this is pretty good so yours seems ok. Hope this is helpful. Gwen 🧓

Plants will definitely help with those numbers. Always lots to do in the garden. I am waiting for shoulder surgery too... Darn thing. Lol I did the same with my K1 this year ...emptied my eazypod .. .. I said it wouldn't happen again.. I think I am on number 3 I will never do it again

Thanks for watching my Dad has had the pond for a long time but where he keeps tinkering around with it he damaged the liner so I’ve tidied it up made it deeper 20” and put a shelf in he has never had any problems in the past I.E like freezing over and this time it’s got a Rubber Pond Liner so hopefully he can’t do any damage 🤞

Thought that the scrapes were clear. Obviously it has been working. Love rhubarb....raw with a bit of salt to make it extra sour... . I try to keep any extra fitting...as you just never know and this hobby is expensive enough

Im going to say costia generally find the koi act like that when they have gill trouble and the eyes are milky or covered in a white glaze as well as the body with Costia they prey on the cells of the fish and it starts to breakdown its almost looks like your fish is starting to rot when this happens .. Costia is the worst and by far the number one killer of fish if un treated

Normally to much Protein but I’m not feeding at the moment temperatures are still low more likely to much air I’ve got a air ring in the centre and air stones down to other end of the pond
