For any new drummers who aren't used to playing undeadened drum heads, and don't like that sound - try hitting your toms harder and laying deeper into the heads before deciding to just deaden the heck out of your set.

My dad about 10 years ago was gunna start a recording studio, and it had a very specific recording session setup as far as bringing in bands. So they needed a very well rounded drumset. So they found this drumset with everything but the second bass drum, 8” Tom and second snare. So I bought part of it. I expanded the cymbals. So in a way We bought it 😂. It’s beautiful and I love it so much.

@@f.k.b.16, yeah! Funny enough, I’m just blessed to be able to have this set. I was a little boy when he bought it. So when I learned drums and started to get interested, there was this fabulous monster of a kit at my disposal

You kick ass! Great playing and amazing sound. What yamahas are they? Those drums sound huge but still retain their attack

Thank you! They are Yamaha power tour! Basically the tour version of recording custom back in the 80s. So they are the Yamaha 8000 series power tour. Man I love them 🙂
