You could do with a bigger washing machine. I thought you hung the towels on the towel rack in the bathroom of the rooms, rather than leaving them on the bed. Also, I think you need to have the compressor part of the air conditioning on the outside wall, in order for it to work. I totally agree in regard to the paint you bought not being the colour advertised. That orange is hideous. The slightly lighter one you replaced it with doesn't look too bad. In fact, it looks quite effective just having it on that back wall behind the bed.

You have to equip your trash can from the circle menu, then click on the trash can to empty it, otherwise it stops working.

Man not sure what I did wrong but after installing the Melon loader and the BepInEx the game just pops up with some weird window.. looks like a command prompt window says a bunch of stuff then.. it says in yellow something like "vanilla something detected"? It goes so quickly it's impossible to read. Maybe I'll just do a fresh install.

trying not to go overboard with tips but turning off the motel when you have no vacancy prevents people from showing up but your current guests stay in the rooms and checkout just fine. This is a good way to keep from getting upset customers although I don't think saying no room available hurts your status. If they get impatient it will of course.

toggling someone for a cleaner while you build or stock might be a good strat. they would do the housekeeping too though but if there is a project you want to focus on you can pop them in on a task👍

I'm shy to possibly repeating myself bc idk which playthroughs I've made suggestions on so sorry if I repeated but you could use the cart to throw laundry on (cleaning all rooms at once) and you can reset it to the wearhouse if you forget to cart by the rooms. this can help reduce the back n fourth. I don't see many utalizing the reset button to their advantage bc it keeps all items. you can also dump all the trash out from the cart at once so if you get several rooms at once. you can use this to help clean the rooms faster with less back and fourth whiplash effect lol 😊 there is also a bigger cart you can get in the future. If it were me, I'd have one cart for the store and one cart for room cleanup ideally.

you also could have just made your T-shirt and put it on a "Grey Shirt" instead of "White shirt" and then it would be grey without you having to paint it.

Trash cans outside office and store help. Also small ones in rooms keep them clean except sweeping. Oh if you haven't looked check the plate on the Delorean the next time one shows up.

Helps if you lock things like beds and the like down so you don't accidentally move them.

I'm looking to find out how everyone dealt with the mods vs the updates. My mods disappeared and the store was emptied out - shelves, fridges, freezers and stock. The only thing left was the stock room. I tried to restock the floor but every time I saved the game, closed it, and came back all was gone again. Moving the mods out of the folder did not help.

For your towels, sheets, toilet paper, and whatnot, you can store them in the warehouse, and press f to pull them out in the hotel rooms. Also, I'd keep an eye on workers when you get into them. The workers on the fuel pump seem to cost more than you actually make in a day.

Your orange soda ( along with big water) goes on the top shelf of the fridge. That’s the only shelf it’ll fit on cuz they are large.

Oh your flooring debacle. You have to be specific on your placement and stay only in the gray. So I think you had enough as you said. But when you laid it down you went over the top of some of your already placed flooring. Even though it is the same, the game still deducts it from your box which is why you only had 2 left on the last one. This also happens with painting. So when you use E to stretch it, don’t go over the top of anything not gray.

Also when you do get staff in housekeeping, yes, they will do the sheets, etc. but they won’t necessarily take the same items back to the same room. If you have black bedding in room 1,for example, they might pull them and put on white sheets. You will toggle which rooms you want them to clean so if you do themed room with specific items, just leave that room toggled off and you’ll clean it yourself to make sure the specific bedding goes back on.
