Кольчуги не нуждались в наплечниках. Это и так очень тяжёлый доспех. Линотераксы перепутали с кольчугами. Скутум пехотинца всегда 1/3 цилиндра с острыми углами и с одной рукояткой по центру. Центурионы не носили лорики сегментаты. Вот центурионы с 1 века до Христа стали носить кольчуги с круглыми пластинами.

Кольчуги не нуждались в наплечниках, тем не менее римляне имели привычку заимствовать технологии других народностей, так что наплечники хоть и не были неотъемлемой частью хаматы и спокойно снимались, все же часто носились на ней. Про сегментату вообще мало информации, видимо не очень прижилась, а может как и шлем с прямым плюмажем была больше церемониальной частью экипировки

@@СанечкаШульц чисто римскими были доспехи из кожаных ремней. Они и послужили прообразом великолепных сегментат. Просто сталь с веками рассыпалась в прах. Ничего не дошло до Нового Времени, кроме латунных пряжек. А с 3 века после Христа Рим стал беднеть и было уже не до ковки сегментат.
