The TV tuner was awesome when I was a kid. I would watch afternoon cartoons on it while waiting for my mom to get off work.

I bought this receiver for an sn30 pro (model with the all light purple buttons)and it synced up ok but it still didn't work with my system (retron 3). It acted like there wasn't a controller attached. If possible, have you tried this?

The Genesis POUND cable has issues with colors of some CD and 32x games. Does the Hyperkin not have these issues? Others make it seem like they use the same chips but I question that based on this review.

I have one of these, but the inaccurate sound emulation has always bugged me. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix it, whether by somehow altering the internal software, resoldering the board, or changing out the board entirely?

Wait tho. I thiught younwoukd use red and white cables out with aux and the mixer cable its what makes the sound perfect so does it get all it needs thar way

Didn't work cos of a loose speaker???? So if the speaker was removed, it wouldn't work either 🤔 or it was shorting out the circuit 🤐🤗 I just brought a Lynx II 2nd hand off eBay not working for just £50 with a game, hope it's as easy fix as this 😗😃😘😍

Anybody else out there have issues with getting their carts into the slot and connect with the pins inside? Almost every cartridge I try takes an extreme amount of effort and fiddling to get it right, everything seems ok once a game fires up but feels like I'm damaging the internals every time 😬 also it didn't want to pass audio through an HDMI splitter into my soundbar but running it direct into my projectors second output and then running audio out was the workaround - not sure if that's an unknown quirk or something to do with HDMI sync for the FM audio? It all looks and sounds great, looking forward to sticking an everdrive in it and not messing around with trying to get my original carts in without breaking a sweat each time.

As a kid, I had a model 1 Sega Genesis. I'm pretty sure it was the first variant because I remember it had the high definition graphics logo on the top. I also like that the Sega Genesis Mini is based on that model Genesis.
