I have all of the X-Men Omnis that have been released from Silver Age Vol. 1 through Age of Apocalypse, which is where my collection stops. Marvel tricked me into buying Uncanny Vol. 5, which I will be selling to pick up Mutant Massacre Prelude, which is the book I wanted all along. Those early issues of X-Factor are objectively horrible comics and I'm surprised Marvel is releasing X-Factor Vol. 1 on the same day as the obviously superior MM Prelude. Feels like some kind of hubris from Marvel.

This is obviously a way for Marvel to make extra money. I was upset when I heard about the PRelude book and decided to hang on to UX 5 en XF Epic Collection 1. Now that it is here, I caved (not unexpectedly)... but I decided to sell UX 5 and XF Epic 1. It hurts a little to let go of my BWS DM cover, but UX 5 has become a completely superfluous book.... and shelf space is scarce ;-)

Agreed I hear you mate, the annoying thing is they simply could have added it into UCX 5. Even thou I have both UXM & XF am still getting this for ease of reading and if you have the books after you have 95% of X-factor run along side X-men. I will still keep UXM and XF as the next volume will happen keeping them defined. In reality I could just skip this but part of me really wants it for some crazy reason lol I have never seen Marvel make such a money grabbing move like this before hopefully it is just a one off.

The thing with War of Kings it has a massive amount of X material leading into the event with the Rise and Fall of the Shiar Empire, the other miniseries around Vulcan and his reign before one of the most enjoyable events. I loved the Vulcan stories and Havoks Space pirates so for me it was a much although things change as Omnibus are released. Thank you for the comment bud, what would make it into your top ten?

Nice I pretty much stopped after capaldi. Watched a few Jodi episodes, didn't enjoy them that much watched the last few special episodes and watched the 60th anniversary episodes and only watched 15ths first episode

I had these but by a misspelling on eBay I was able to get one of the red ranger helmet sets for about $150 as either no one else was finding it to bid or someone made their significant other mad and it is such a low number 0007/2000, though I did keep the booklets out of the 4 big sets, and the U.K. Release of super Dino charge was the only way to get the 2 holiday episodes as extra’s so I imported that set just for that 1 disc

I think you are right and that he is the Red Ranger and the Other was the Green Ranger somehow corrupted by Dark Spector. Only a few issues left this series has grown on me, I will be sad when it is over.

I opted for the Blu ray version of Season 1. I own all of new who on blu ray from Christopher Eccleston to Ncuti Gatwa. I'm also buying the classic seasons on blu ray. The only steel book I own is the 60th anniversary specials but I also bought a copy of the dvd version because I thought that the cover on the dvd and blu ray were better than the steel book. The picture quality on the blu ray is better than the dvd. I can understand why fans are buying the steelbook because they don't take up a lot of space on the shelves in their private collection.

Nice, you hit the nail on the head the space reduced by steelbooks is spot on. If not for that I would have just grabbed the blu rays and been satisfied but they have been so inconsistent in terms of sizes. Now I tell you what I am enjoying was last year’s David Tennant set that was released. I hope we get a Matt Smith set later this year.

The steel book is not worth the money. I bought the blu ray version. The front cover and back cover is also better than the steel book. When you take out the 7 discs on the inside you get the same 2 pictures of Gatwa and Gibson. Each disc contains photos from each story. The blu ray version is £10 cheaper than the steel book and the dvd version is £10 cheaper than the blu ray but the same cover front and back as the blu ray.

Yeah the discs and content are exactly the same you are only paying for steel book case, Now folks will grab this as they are always the same size and reduce the amount of space on the shelf, also steel books are know for rising in value over the years as they are more limited than the readily available standard blu ray set. I do need to check reviews of the standard set I’ve heard good things about it. What set did you stick to? Ta

Patience is a good approach with this book it has already had a couple of rerelease due to its popularity, I suspect it will will happen again or just wait for a good deal to happen. 👌
