Maestro. Una pregunta. Me ha llegado la Easttop Forerunner en (C) PERO no viene en ninguna parte la letra C, solo en el caja de cartón. La armónica viene SIN distintivo de la tonalidad, es correcto ? o es posible le que sea una imitación ?

Posting a question here because this is a recent video. Not related to this model. I have tried 2 different units of Forerunner 2.0 and I encountered same issue: with slider pressed, the last 2 notes (B and C) on the upper octave are off. I noticed same thing again in a video review of King Dream. Isn't this a defect? I assume notes should be same as lower and middle octave.

Hey, not affiliated with easttop but I'm a chromatic harmonica player and yes, the notes are actually supposed to be different at the very top octave. The C with button should still be a C# but the B with button will actually be a D instead of a C. All chromatic harmonicas are made this way to extend the range of the instrument by a whole step.

Got one of these kits. Very cheap and good quality. From left to right Shim stock. Reed tool is very nice with rounded edges(needed on stamped steel). Includes a sharp point right above the wrench part for minor reed scraping(similar to Zajac's five cent tuning tool). Chisel is okay, good for beveling the top edges of the reed. Little spray bottle is useful to put 70% isopropyl in. Forceps are decent. Stanley brand phillips and slot screwdrivers. Good quality, not cheap cast and plated fake screwdrivers. File. got a flat rectangle file instead of the tapered(rat tail?) file. Probably much more difficult to use on smaller 9/10 hole reeds. Didn't have the narrow shim or the "top hook" even though factory wrap was still on. Not every set may include these, as well as there may be a different file.

I have several Easttop harmonicas and am amazed at the excellent quality at a fraction of the price of other well known brands. Highly recommended

Thank you! I'm tired of seeing videos from people telling absolute beginners they need to spend a minimum of $50 (Special 20/MarineBand etc) and anything less is a disposable toy.

Because Fender is a guitar company. They have other companies(who have harmonica/melodica/accordion factories) make their harmonicas. Easttop is happy to ship out tons of harmonicas with the Fender name/logo coverplates. Then Fender promptly uses their distribution channels to put them in music stores. IDK about you, but I've never seen an Easttop at Sam Ash/Guitar Center/Music & Arts, except for the ones that say Fender on them.

As far as I know;Easttop makes bass and chord harmonicas. I have seen a bass Easttop.

With my old diatonic harmonica, I had a 50% chance of getting the right note on a song. With this one, I got a 75% chance of getting it wrong. 4 tones on each hole. Can’t wait to get one!

Sounds great, although I had a problem with the timing at the end. But what are all the advantages and disadvantages of a valve-less chromatic?
