Welch ein Meisterwerk, unglaubliche Malweise, muss ja zig-Kilos gewogen haben bei der gigantischen Farbmenge. Wie lange hat der Trockenprozess gedauert?

Nice to see you again. I first saw your art about 10 years ago, purchased your book. You are still painting amazing art. I am always wonder how you deal with those long drying times that thick paint requires. Cheers from Canada.

Very nice. When i see you painting like this: with hands and thick paint, IN London it reminds me instantly George Rowlett. Same technique (pardon me for saying this, obviously there are differences but you know what i mean), similar places. Very beautiful works :)

In the history of art, it acceptable that the Impressionist first employed plein-air like you do, however you are not just using a brush. You lavishly painted it with colors; its expensive, different and beautiful. I like it because for me is new.

I would love to know what does he do to get these paintings to dry? Because he puts them in a van and so the painting can get smudged. Or does it get smudged and he doesn't care because he got all he need to work on it to fix that? Still, the painting is very thick, so wondering how long it dries, what he does to speed it up. Must be something he pours in the paint buckets for sure.

So inspirational, he is free in his thoughts, he has self confidence, no hang ups, no anxiety about achieving desired outcomes with his paintings, so admirable. And the energy, to paint like that on huge canvases for hours day after day, I could only dream of that productivity.

Up to 50 kg of oil paint for a large painting, evidently.

The first 16 seconds in I was like "WTF?!" Oh. dude has a mad budget for paint. His paintings are way beyond impasto. They must take forever to "skin over". How do they transport them without smushing the wet paint???
@claireseyeviewonredbubble2 ай бұрын
Everything I was going to ask! How much money spent on paint, so expensive just for large tubes, but TUBS needs deep pockets! And how long before the paintings are dry enough to safely pack for shipping? Amazing paintings one needs to stand back from and see at a distance to truly appreciate them.
@Michal_Kuras2 ай бұрын
@@claireseyeviewonredbubble Hmm, maybe its not so different taking in cosideration that you can use one bucket (of paint) on multiple paintings and this paint can be a more "hardware" quality. Goes into quantity over quality, probably its not so different from the tubes, oil is oil, specially if you paint with hand and brush strokes are not important. So maybe he goes even better budget wise then using standards art oil tubes.

Gutes Gelingen weiterhin, Gott segne Dich. Andreas
