Thank you 😊 I’m going next wk and was trying to decide between Holiday inn and Westgate. Have you been to Westgate resorts. I think Westgate would be a authentic experience but Holiday Inn is definitely more luxury. From what I can see.

Are pool towels available at the pickup for everyone again? Or do you need to bring the ones they provide you in your villa, and make sure you don't lose them?

If you turn right out of the resort, you can drive behind Gatlinburg to get to the grocery store. It is a Food City. It is fun watching the videos from all of the resort. Keep up the good work!

Avoid the time share tour , it's not worth 50 dollars and free continental breakfast.

Question is there anywhere on the resort that you can stay near a pool we are staying here 2022 we have two bed apartment but we are hoping to request a pacific area do you recommend a certain area ie river island etc.

Do not stay (stayed Nov 21 , 2021) The hallway to the room was unfinished The manager, stated I should've been aware of the construction, but were not, The pictures of the room on the website were not the same as our room, sliding door fell off its track, sheets incorrect size, the rain shower drain clogged flooded the bathroom, I spent the next three hours with management negating. Our total bill was approximately $500, which I think is absurd for what we were delivered, very disappointing Video

While we love this place, should’ve seen it 25-30 years ago, big difference and I miss it. Back then the marketplace was in the clubhouse, paisans pizza and ice cream was in there where swampy’s is, Kem’s place Restaraunt was in there where the current arcade is and I had several thanksgiving meals there while watching football, MUCH better arcade with real games and not just ticket based games, indoor mini golf, indoor shuffle alley, the theatre and much more. If it was a rainy day you could spend the entire day in the clubhouse and not get bored. PS I’ll be there in about 60 hours… 11 years ago was the 1st time we golfed on the resort, 3 holes in I ran into a little gator, my ball ended up 5 feet from him… I took a drop on the other side of the green, and it was a damn good shot off the tee…

And there is no shuttle to theme parks?

Great Tour! I've been staying here since 09 so it's cool to see the new additions and remodels every year. I'm going down on July 9th so it will be cool to see what's new. For anyone wondering which village I prefer, it would definitely be the west village and river island for me. They have updated villas and are close to amenities and the entrance to the resort.

Cottages are all sold out as of 7/1/2021. There’s one 2-bedroom on the waters edge (with a pool) for $725k. Too rich for us. But we put a deposit to get on the priority list for the new villas they’re building there in a few months. Still tempted?
