Anyone with more than a year of lifting experience knows to actually warm up with light weights and progressively load more and more. Even Dorian Yates started with 155lbs for bench press in Blood and Guts, so idk who the hell this guy thought he was but he was proven wrong real quick

I bench 450 I warm up with the bar to make sure I’m not to tight than 265 but a tear could be from anything
@axewpew7439
@axewpew7439 9 күн бұрын
@@Thebudbandit a warm up is something that allows you to essentially stretch the muscle but without struggling. You don't need to go so heavy on a warm up. Sure if you can bench that heavy a warm up for someone like that might be between 100-200 but not anything more as it's sudden and unnecessary stress on the tendons. Especially if you're juicing warm ups are crazy important
@Thebudbandit
@Thebudbandit 9 күн бұрын
@@axewpew7439 i’m not saying you going right into a really heavy weight immediately you warm up to that weight I’m saying they could be a warm-up set for that guy working up to a PR. I never said you should go straight into 335 that would be stupid.
