What I remember in DFW was when we lost Harmon and Evans from kplex kplx when they changed to the wolf. Same country but different. I remember harmon and evans saying what would you do if we’re not here tommorrow? Miss the silliness of kiss106. 2 guys did about 5 voices including fictitious Billy Ed Hatfield. I’ve got 2 cassettes, wish I had more. We’ve got 2 good country Am stations here in Waxahachie and Hillsboro with Texas state network news streaming also.

I always loved his musical shows and his exciting informative raps. He was so inventive with his rocket ship show. Joko Henderson also had a dance show in Newark, New Jersey viewing on channel 13. I learned most of my favorite dance routines from Joko’s rocket ship show now PBS.

Imus may've well been "out of it" in this period leading up to his "exile" (except for weekly trips to New York to host a TV show, "Imus, Plus . . . ," for WNEW-TV), he was well into booze and drugs in this part of his career, and no doubt it would've contributed to his mediocrity in this set of airchecks. McCord himself was just coming back to the Imus show after two years with the ill-fated "News and Information Service" that NBC had started to compete nationally with local all-news stations (which, in New York City, were WINS and the now-deceased WCBS); in that interim, others such as John Bohannon filled in on doing the news updates for the "I-Man." Was the tape a bit "draggy," or was the TOH tone heard after 13:05 on this clip, about 710 - 715 Hz? (It was definitely :00.4 sec. duration.)

History documents certain frequencies used for covert ops by the NSA, CIA, Mossad, who knows, etc.... This nonsense is just secret code words and sentences for the undercover operatives who are listening for directives. Just like you would say "open sesame" as a secret code to open a door. these nonsense statements are expected codes by their undercover ops, note the Morris code in the background... again secret code once deciphered

About halfway through, this recording picks up later the next day (I had paused it) on 14.313 mhz. It features one of the single most pitiful individuals to have a ham radio callsign, Donald Anderson, N4TAT, of Werner Robbins, GA. Anderson is heard in another KZbin video published on another chanel, allegedly confessing to rape of a 12 year old girl. He doesn't say any of that here, but let the viewer/listener beware if one searches videos containing the N4TAT call sign.

A recurring theme with some of these clowns is the hatred of Donald Trump. And the LOVE of Donald Trump. If anything symbolizes the deep divisions which exist in the United States, it's those dysfunctional individuals who come here to 7.200 mhz to chat.

A general clue as to the date of this aircheck was the subject matter here at the beginning. Talking about NASAs plan to rescue the two private astronauts stranded on the ISS. So, this was 9.12.24 around 6 6:12 pm Eastern.

The guys you're hearing are regulars - Joe, AC1DD is rather infamous. Do a search for that guy here in KZbin and you'll see an assortment of videos featuring him in various shouting matches with others. Simply speaking, Joe is a menace to the hobby. He injects himself into ongoing conversations just to stir the pot and make people angry.

Also, you'll hear Rick, KC4YJO, Jeff from Virginia Beach and another quite notorious Canadian operator, Shawn (Chartrand), VA3VFY from Ottawa, Ontario. Others might include Jay from southern NJ, Orin from Indiana (I think) and KI4HIL from Nashville, TN. If not this recording, the one I referenced and linked to in another comment. Shawn is notorious for playing music and other sound effects. Shawn has a full audio studio (pictures are on his Facebook page) suitable for broadcast radio and he always transmits with a hefty amount of plate reverb. All of those things I described are against the law for amateur radio operators in both Canada and the United States. In fact, nearly everything you hear on 7.200 each evening g between around 4:30 and 10 pm is an example of illegal operations. Which goes back to the reason I posted these in the first place.

Interesting! Could be why I heard The Simpsons one night while in San Diego! The Fox affiliate in SD must be on Channel Six (or at least it was all those years ago when I heard it.)

Sounded more like a staccato cuckoo rather than tones. NBC's hourly tone at that time was ~750 Hz; alas, this aircheck sounds a tad sped-up.
