Are you a good person? Let’s check and see! Have you ever stolen? (Even if it’s something really small or not worth much) Have you ever lied? Or have you ever looked with lust ? Now, have you ever taken the Lords Name in vain? Have you ever hated someone?If you’ve ever done any of those things, you would be either a liar, a thief, an adulterer,(for looking with lust. See Matthew 5:28), a blasphemer(for taking Gods Name in vain), a murderer (for hating someone. See 1 John 3:15) or maybe even all of them. And that was only 5 of the Ten Commandments. Therefore Gods Standard Is Very High. The Bible Even Says That If We’ve Just Broken One Law We’re Guilty Of Breaking Them All. (James 2:10) So we have all sinned against God and therefore deserve death.(Romans 3:23 & 6:23)That’s why ~2000 years ago A Savior was sent; Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of The World And Then He rose 3 days later. Through His sacrifice He Paid The Fine for our sins, and made Atonement for the sins of the world. Now we can be made new by accepting The Gift of Salvation. In order to accept This Gift, we must first Repent. This is a change of mind about sin (from an embrace of sin to rejection of sin) and a Turning to God. Once you Repent, you can then turn to FAITH/TRUST in the Savior. A person who has truly Repented of their sin and has Trust in Christ will give evidence of a changed life. Therefore, as a Result of Salvation you’ll then produce Good Works and the Fruit of Salvation. (Reading the Word, Acts of Kindness, readiness to help, to serve, to give of oneself, The Fruits of the Spirit, etc.) You aren’t saved by doing Good Works, but you can then produce Good Works once you are Saved!

How long does one session of PROMPT take?
@RozanneIsrael
@RozanneIsrael 2 жыл бұрын
That really depends on the child and their attention span/age. I’m some jurisdictions it is a funding/administration decision E.g., in schools I see kids for 30 mins to 1 hour at a time, depending on their age and ability to focus/cooperate.

Do you have a list of therapists in Israel that work in Hebrew?
@RozanneIsrael
@RozanneIsrael 8 жыл бұрын
Yes. Since proprioceptive and kinnaesthetic cues are provided, together with auditory information, it can potentially be used for someone with visual impairment. PROMPT has been used with people with acquired communication impairments. The PROMPT institute website should have more information on this.

I wish I could go to Canada and have you evaluate my three year old. I'm so scared of how allowing New York state Psychologist to evaluate him is going to effect him in the future. I don't believe they want to help him they just want to write him of as dumb. And if I allow them to do that then my sweet little black boy won't have a chance to be the successful man I know he could be. He's three and can count to 100, says, sings and writes his ABC's , and spell and pronounce words like Elephant, Giraffe, kangaroo, horse and if he doesn't know how to spell it at first he can get it if you sound it out. He can say a few phrases like.. his new one is "It's alright! It's ok!" and he says "Hello" to everything he sees like "Hello school bus! hello T.V! Hello baby elephant! Hello phone! lol. But he will not try to hold a conversation. nor will he try to do things when you tell him to. most of the time he does or says it but mostly when he wants to he waits until your no longer paying attention or something. I just need someone who doesn't want to look everything he can't do but see all the great things he can actually do.

@@kishasimpson8083 hi how is your daughter? my grandson sounds similar, he is 2.5 now and it never seems to change, it's like he is stuck. He also seems to be aloof and anti social with other kids, just does not seem to connect with them. He seems like,, a year or so behind...more like 18 months and 2.5. As far as motor skills, he is very ahead and fine with that always.

How stuttering fits into the broader spectrum of Motor Speech Disorders?
@RozanneIsrael
@RozanneIsrael 9 жыл бұрын
The jury is still out on that one. Some people do believe that stuttering is another form of a motor speech disorder - disruption at the level of timing and sequencing. (Take a look at my video on PROMPT therapy that outlines the different levels of the motor speech hierarchy). Theoretically, stutterers have difficulty coordinating their breath stream with their voice and the movements of the lips/tongue and/or jaw. But it is more complex than that, as there are so many other factors that influence stuttering and periods of fluency.

It doesn't fit. Stuttering it not a motor speech disorder. The etiologies between the two are vastly different.
